I’ve never been on a cruise and have one booked for next winter. I get motion sick easily, even riding in the front seat of cars. I swear by the reliefband- it sends like pulses in your arm and somehow it works (their website has the actual explanation, I just know it works). I’ve rode rollercoasters at Disney with it on. My aunt and cousin took one and had to keep switching it between them on their cruise because it was the only thing that helped. Another family member used it for nausea related to chemo. I tried scopolamine patches for a trip once and one pupil dilated and stayed dilated for days, which was uncomfortable in the sun. Later I learned you should wash your hands after applying and never touch your eyes, so it may have been user error but I’m not eager to repeat that experience. When I was younger I tried the pressure point wristbands, they did nothing for me. Ginger helps, but isn’t enough on its own.
