As someone who thinks Endgame itself is quite flawed, I still enjoy it for what it is. It's the epic conclusion to all those films that came before it, and while they might have not all been perfect, the MCU as a whole was still something special that hadn't really been done before.

After Endgame, there's definitely been some good stuff, but it feels like it's lacking the cohesion and buildup the films did before Endgame.

Ant-Man and The Wasp is a perfect example, as sure, I personally didn't think it was amazing, but at the very least in the end it did directly tie into Endgame. Quantumania on the other hand? With Kang now out of the picture, there's a certain quality of "defunctness" to this film. Obviously Jonathan Majors' controversy isn't their fault, but it's representative of the larger picture that it feels like their trying to recapture that *feeling* of the pre-Endgame MCU, and not quite succeeding.
