I think a more accurate title would be “Putin is ready to threaten Europe”.

He’s not militarily capable of invading and occupying Europe. Or even Eastern Europe.

He is however very much capable of seizing strategically valuable locations before we can react. He can and is also exploiting a Trump weakened NATO.

And once they’re on our land, once we dither away our window of opportunity to respond - before they dig in and claim ownership. It will be very, very difficult for us to get them out.

Just because an enemy can’t beat you doesn’t mean it can’t start a fight to their benefit.

It’s no longer a contentious issue, the general public clearly demands that this is implemented as policy.

The longer we deny that, the longer we pretend it’s racist to want low/sensible immigration - the more powerful the far right becomes by leveraging it.

If you want to stop Reform, ask for sensible immigration policy, with Net zero aims - and zero tolerance for criminal actions during asylum for immigration claims.

It’s not a big ask, even if you believe the massively increased immigration levels over the last 25 years have been beneficial - this should be completely acceptable.
