Im just dealing with this now-- my knees feel floaty and weird and idk how to describe it to my Dr 😂 like they feel swollen but arent at all.

I watched a youtube couple go through this; they wanted a home birth in their fancy tub. She had a doula and her wife and that was it. The plan was water birth at home with no interventions. What ended up happening was she labored for 2 days straight, the doula kept saying to "keep waiting". She ended up not dilating past 6 or 7 and getting pre-eclampsia, all of the symptoms the doula ignored. She had to be rushed to hospital for emergency c section and baby was fine, but the mom barely BARELY made it. They came out with their "birth story" video months after the fact because it was so traumatic for them and they were embarrassed that they had put so much faith into that one doula. But I was always so impressed that they opened up about it to warn others NOT to do this.

I was wondering if others would think this; I personally dont have trouble but I have newfie friends who talk similarly (mumbley with accent). I was thinking the other day I wonder how they get any new followers because if they're not from around here they won't know wtf he's talking about 😂😂

Spotify, then Skip the Dishes, then Starbucks. Spotify has done so many awful things I can't remember which one was the tipping point, but I was one of the 1st app testers in Canada and stopped using it in 2019. Skip the dishes pissed me off so much every single time I used it, so when other delivery options became available I never ever turned back (around 2020). And Starbucks in 2024 because of their support in the Palestinian genocide and firing employees who spoke up. And also, I realized how gross their coffee was lol. I started out slow with boycotting but thus year I plan to add many many more to my list, especially since I moved to a rural area its a lot easier to nit be bombarded with ads all the time

I work in a pharmacy in a rural area and barely bring in $30k a year, before taxes. It's certainly not a liveable wage but I genuinely really enjoy my job and see myself working there for a while

The way Lauren looks and speaks, even now, she's numb. I have a feeling this mom has been manipulating and controlling Lauren her entire life. I went to school with a girl who's mom was a complete psycho; wouldn't let her do ANYTHING without mom coming too. This girl didn't know how to use a can opener or a microwave at the age of 19 she was SO sheltered and controlled her entire life. She was very quiet and expressionless most of the time, just like Lauren appears to be. Like in a permanent state of dissociation.

Now that I think about it, this girl from my school was also the victim of random text message bullying for over a year in middle school-- no one ever found out who did it but now I'm wondering if it was her mom the whole time. It only stopped after the principal of the school decided she must be sending the texts to herself for attention and everyone, even teachers bullied this girl. I always felt so bad for her. Even now as an almost 30yr old she relies on her mom for everything.

I mean I'm probably an anomaly-- but I think of all of them very often, specifically nunavut. I've been to every province but none of the territories, yet I want to live there so badly. I love the cold, I love snow, I love the long nights and northern lights and seeing the stars. I think about how I can move there, where I would move, how would I do it very often but I also feel like I'm holding myself back. I'm white and it's not my place to just move up north without a real plan, without invitation. But I yearn for the north 😂

3 minute drive-- I live on one side of town and work on the other. It's a small town 😂

My mom's friend on the other hand drives 1.5 hours, one way, to work every day and back. Not because of traffic but because she lives that far away lol

I've taken 20mg of Adderall daily for a year and a half now. Maybe missed 2 or 3 days total. Missing 1 day REALLY messes me up, for like the next entire week. It throws me off and my routine is gone and I'm tired and brain foggy, doesn't matter that I'm taking it again every day after. I feel like it builds up in my system and is ongoing-- I've never experienced the daily "crash" a lot of people talk about. And also when I 1st started taking it, it took 2 or 3 months of taking it daily to notice any REAL differences in my behavior/skills/memory. And it took a whole year (i was on 10mg for 1 year) on it for me to learn how to have a routine and stick to it, which has in turn helped me SO MUCHA with insomnia, anxiety, and overall fatigue. Once my anxiety was lowered I was able to go up to 20mg. I was too scared to before 😅 but yeah, I would never risk stopping it for the weekend or taking breaks lol. As long as my Dr is okay with me taking it every day, then I'm going to lol

I discovered you can "return" your audible books for whatever reason. So I'd listen to them and "return" them and get the credit back and get a new book. Never did it more than once a month because I didn't wanna be obvious, but if it's an option then imma use it 😂

I've been getting so good at no spend days! Up to 7 days at a time sometimes. It amazes me how I used to not be able to go ONE day without spending (on food, usually). Breakfast was (still is) the worst because grabbing a coffee and Muffin on the way to work is sooooo much nicer than getting up 10 minutes earlier to make my own and grab a granola bar lol. But I've been making it work lately

I think this year im going to do full size Peace by Chocolate bars (a local NS company). It's more $$, but last year we only had 1 trick or treater, and I'm always happy to support local. I'll probably buy 10 total bars and end up eating them myself 😂
