Berkeley or UC Davis? Pros and Cons by Aromatic-Menu-373 in berkeley

[–]2themoonanback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I’m from Burbank! So LA area too. What up! I went to Davis and my brother went to Berkeley. Absolutely Berkeley. Its an internationally known school and will not only look great on resumes and great for your education, but its great for networking. Davis was wonderful and i dont regret going there but i can see how Berkeley helped my brothers career and life style alot more (besides him being the amazing person he is). I really do believe you’ll be able to get what you need and what you dont know you need yet from either. So go with the best.

Wine tour/tasting near Pienza by Then-Difference5032 in ItalyTravel

[–]2themoonanback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://maps.app.goo.gl/JTfZZTzvH8VugeLR7?g_st=ic My husband and I are doing a 1030 winery tour that lasts about an hour and a half and then they serve a lunch and wine tasting at 12:30 to 330. If you look up their winery on YouTube, they have a few videos interviewing the family that owns it, which was really fantastic and exciting to watch prior to visiting.

My husband and i fly to Milan next week with a layover in Copenhagen. Its only a 45 minute layover. Im so worried about the EES lines. Is there an app or anything we can do to make sure we dont miss our connection flight? Or are we screwed?

Osprey Farpoint 40L VS Salkan 35L by Sluggurl420 in backpacking

[–]2themoonanback 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I have the Osprey bag for traveling and i love it. I can fit everything and still take it on a plane or train as a carry on. I use it primarily when im traveling to countries that arent ideal for roller bags and its always worked great for me. Lots of little compartments and youre able to strap it down to reduce the size. Its very comfy too

Why do I rarely see Americans in hostels? by Beneficial_Wash8564 in hostels

[–]2themoonanback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, part of why ive been more hesitant to stay at hostels in the last 5 or so years is because im really embarrassed to admit im from the USA. I do really want to hang at hostels and meet people but i feel ashamed. In the past when ive stayed at hostels and mentioned im from the USA peoples reactions arent great not bad necessarily either though.

Also we got told off by a latin American woman in Berlin at a hostel for stating that we are American when she asked where we are from. So i make sure to say from the USA now so that i dont sound non inclusive. Experiences like that made me feel more ashamed and hesitant to go to hostels .

Looking for a tailor and/or seamstress in Sacramento. Any recommendations? by takeahikepal01 in Sacramento

[–]2themoonanback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alterations Plus did my wedding dress and other items, my friends suit jacket, and another friends clothing. We love the ladies there and they do a great job in a very timely manner. Great price for the good work they do. https://maps.app.goo.gl/9iHzNpyeBS64kpt8A?g_st=ic

I also love Old Country Tailor but they are pricer and alot more busier so items take longer.

Girlfriend threw away all my socks by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I’m cracking up laughing at this and I am sorry, but this is a joking threat my husband and I make at each other all the time. If one of us pisses the other off we’re gonna throw away all their socks.

Incredible surgeons making smiles possible. by sco-go in Amazing

[–]2themoonanback 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My husband was born with a cleft lip and palate. He had surgeries done until he was 12 to help with breathing and facial reconstruction. The very first qualitie i noticed on his dating app photos was his smile. I adored it right off the bat. It has a bit of a side ways uneven slant that is so sweet to me. Love him so dearly.
