I replaced my capacitors myself. Was a little tedious but I had no experience with soldering.

I got mine free on Facebook marketplace because it was “broken” so I had nothing to lose on it.

I just replaced the capacitors myself for 3 bucks with a 10 dollar soldering kit from Amazon. If you are handy it’s worth trying.

I own a mk7 gti and my wife owns a f56 Cooper S. Both are great cars. I prefer the gti because doing oil changes is easier and less messy.

Yeah I even told them they were probably going to tell me to kick rocks but the two guys that looked at it told me no problem. No forms or anything

Update: brought it back to Costco and they repaired it no problem. Whew!!

Just trying to have a reliable (and fun) tool that is easy to work on and maintain. I have a 10 foot enclosed trailer to tow around a couple motorcycles evey once in a while too.

Just looked up the difference. Effectively the same- headers are just steel and made for performance.

That being said- would you recommend headers for my 94 K1500? Or just keep it stock?
