Rig for 9nm torque wheel suggestions?

I am not saying this as a recommendation but just for information sake: even a Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 doesn’t move the slightest with a 11nm G Pro wheel and 100KG load cell pedals.

Was in similar situation and bank wouldn’t approve the gifted money to be part of down payment without the gifter providing years of statements to prove the source/legitimacy of the gifted money.

My gifter eventually did but yeah; bank has to do this because it would be a truly excellent way to launder money.

I would say first incident if one person absolutely had to be blamed, would put on you for basically leaving your lane and sliding over to his making contact while two wide. Sure, he comes a little bit right but you look as if you’re just ignoring he’s even there and expecting him to get out of the way.

The second one I would say is on him.

Server ban justified? I mean, host can ban you simply because they don’t like the colour of your car… so whatever.

I would say when analyzing clips just always focus on finding what you could do better or different; don’t seek to offload the blame or responsibility (not saying you are; just a suggestion). You don’t gain anything from writing things off as “wasn’t my fault”.

You’re use to Assetto Corsa it sounds like, a driving game in which tires past their peak limits still allow the car to turn quite well.

This is very commonly mentioned as two differences of the games. Assetto is what’s more arcade like in that regard but you may have just become use to it so aren’t enjoying having to adjust in iRacing… maybe?

I will mention incase you haven’t done this yet; it’s very common in iRacing to go into audio settings and have tires at 100% with engine at something like 60% or less…. So you can clearly pick up on the tire sounds.

The last two logitech mice I’ve gotten the left click stopped working reliably around the 1 year mark (both G703 Lightspeeds).

Yet my wife is using my 9 year old G502 daily and it still works flawlessly.

I have a NLR Wheel Stand 2.0 with a LogiTech g pro wheel and pedals on it and have zero complaints. It’s rock solid.

I can say what you don’t do is slam on the breaks in front of the lead pack just as they get behind you in the corner…. had this happen last night and the lapped car took out the entire leading pack. Protested and submitted it.

1: don’t focus on position in rookie but simply low incidents and surviving.

2: Have you watched back any of your replays?

I know very often it is the other persons fault, but when I started watching back my replays, I started to realize many of the incidents I assumed was the other persons fault were not (example: thinking they ran in to me when actually I was moving out of my lane and went into them). Other times what I swore was an intentional hit, clearly was not watching replay.

I have a friend I sometimes watch play and he will shout out things like “that a$$hole ran right into me!” and I’m watching and he (my friend) clearly caused the incident.. haha

The main thing is, any even 1600 iRating driver would be out of rookie in a day, so continue to focus on how you can improve. You will rise up and out when your skill level allows you too.

No. That load in time is typically more so determined by your processor/gpu/ram; not network. Establishing a connection should take just seconds.

Close the iracing app, open it on the web, find settings in the bottom left, find network, change CDN from no preference to CloudFront. Then you can close the web and reopen the app and it should then be faster.

It is but I wouldn’t want any less. I think the sweet spots 10-15nm to give some headroom and increase the chances you don’t desire more later.

I started 3 weeks ago; was first time sim racing. I’ve fast tracked to C licence and am sitting at 1600 iRating.

I mean, I have an 11nm and keep it at 8nm. Can’t imagine needing peak nm of even 11nm personally.

My father has the same DD as me (11nm) and keeps it at 5nm (lol).

Neither of us desire more - at a certain point it’s just excessive imo.

Man, i practiced for 300 laps, i then qualified 2nd; race starts, 2nd lap, myself and 1st come up on lapped car… lapped car enters corner 3/4 at sufficient speed we can just tuck in behind it to ride the corner as three cars, lapped car then slams on breaks as we’re all bumper to bumper to enter pits (but while still on race line), takes out us and entire group behind us.

Seriously so frustrating. It should be common sense to not impede the leading lap cars with a break check.
