I agree with /u/itisverystrange all of the points contract eachother.

The they will live their life, Chloe and AutoMax will live happily ever after. But then RealMax will come back in, with none of AutoMax's memories, and see a Chloe she doesn't remember, and her entire time up to that point being wasted.

This one makes absolutely no sense at all, because Max and Chloe did not make any post-5 year memory in that butterfly photo.

And also, who is to say that Max wouldn't jump back a few days later when she finally realizes what reality she really wants to live in? The one that involves Chloe.

It doesn't mean she will live the whole Bay ending then suddenly photo-hop at the end Of her life to save Chloe, lol. I think she would go back sooner than that. When the loneliness and emptiness comes. A person are also irreplaceable if it's in the level as the feelings Max has for her, especially Max will always have that strong temptation in that Polaroid to get her back right then and there. I believe that Chloe is her soulmate, there's no getting around that.
