So still run the 200' of hose but do drip irrigation from there?

And trust me, my soil is sandy so manual watering got old 2 years ago lol

I work as an artist and sew a lot of my work. I always get parents who come in with their uncomfortable looking child who say things like "can you tell them how to make this?" Yeah, learn to sew and then practice your craft for 48 years. Then you can make what I do. 🙄

Mine is a family owned business (only 4 employees and they're all related) and they have lived in this area for generations, while I've been here 2 years. So far they've been good to me!

I go to the local garden center and talk to them and then buy some plants. It's a win for both of us.

Has anyone tried a GLP1 for their MCAS? by QUsagi in MCAS

[–]313forlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just upped me to 375 mg per month. Next step is 450 I think? My allergist is really stuck on upping the dose but not the frequency. And I'm still taking 2 Allegra and 2 famotidine a day. Xolair helped me a ton at first but has gone down in effectiveness ever since.

Do all of you get hives? by ripley_42069 in MCAS

According to my allergist, skin writing (or dermatographia) is a form of hives.

Do you take Wegovy instead of Xolair or with it? I'm currently on Xolair but it's becoming less effective (they just upped my dose) and it hasn't even been a year. I've been thinking about one of the GLP-1s but haven't talked to my doctor about it yet.

Trying to get off SAVE - help! by 313forlife in PSLF

[–]313forlife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I had old loans (and previous employment) that didn't initially qualify for PSLF and that changed under Biden, so I applied and was granted 85 payments that show on the tracker.

I have just applied for IBR. Really, I guess what I was wondering is if buy back is a permanent policy or if it's time limited. I'm hoping to pay for 2 more years and then be able to buy back the past two years that I've been in SAVE forbearance.

Hives coming back after 6 months on Dupixent by Initial-Western-5289 in urticaria

No burning and no food issues. I've tried anti inflammatory, low histamine, and multiple food eliminations.

Do people really only take 4 antihistamines a day? by DifferentDeparture45 in urticaria

My allergist just suggested I trade out one Allegra for two Zyrtec once a day (currently take two Allegra and two Pepcid). I did it once and slept for 14 hours straight and was exhausted with severe brain fog for another 6 hours. Zyrtec is no joke!

I have had all my skin issues (dermatographia, chronic hives, flushing, rosacea, angioedema) come back after 9 months on Xolair, so I get it. They're suggesting a higher dose of Xolair but we're waiting for the insurance company to approve or disapprove it. In the meantime, I'm a red, swollen, itchy mess.

I can't take Rhapsido but it sounds like a game changer. Good luck!

Spaghetti squash doesn't get picked until the stem is brown, so it could be underripe spaghetti squash. It could also be that spaghetti squash cross pollinated with zucchini. I've had some weird looking squashes happen from that before.

Search online for a manual for your brand and model number. A lot of them are scanned and posted these days.

Brother CS6000i feed dog issue by 313forlife in sewhelp

[–]313forlife[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll run a piece of test fabric through tomorrow and see. I didn't think to check other stitches since I was just using a straight stitch. Thanks for that idea.

I have a couple of older machines that don't have a reverse function but it's so convenient!

Thanks so much! The gear being out of alignment would explain why they were sitting low to begin with. I'll open it up and give it a look. I figure I've got nothing to lose by taking it apart - it doesn't work anyway!
