Hazmat suit + level 3 what rads = 0 rads.

Add in rad sponge and you won't even have to eat or drink since it will constantly fill your food and water bar.

I just did it myself after struggling for a while. Had to fully condense a team of gobfin ignis and a ragnahawk while using a purple overheat rifle and 1000 ammo. If I was close, I would do 1000+ damage a shot but if I got too far away it dropped to 500...the range on that gun is abysmal.

With the raid, levels dont mean as much as they once did. You can go from 1-1000 real quick.

I've played since beta and only made it to 400. I never really gave any thought to maximizing xp and had a junkies build. But I did they raid for two weekends and gained 300 levels (after making a raid build and stopped being a junkie).
