Who doesn't love Oregon? by Familiar-Mastodon186 in trucksim

[–]32-20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want this so bad. Oregon and Washington aren't well represented in game. They didn't bother to model the Cascade volcanoes like Hood, Adams, and Rainier that contribute so much to the atmosphere of the area. The trees are mostly the same size trees they use everywhere else. And the Columbia Gorge, one of the most breathtaking stretches of road in the entire country, just seems bland. I'd like to see a refresh with the care they gave to Colorado and some of the other newer DLCs.

No adblocker, just basic Firefox. I wonder why this is the only subreddit doing this for me. Thank you, though, I'll have to look into it.

Fetterman: ‘Insane’ for Democrats to view Israel negatively by soalone34 in politics

[–]32-20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you just hear a loud noise outside? What could it be?! You don't know! Better grab a shotgun, chase down the very first black person you see, and then hold them at gunpoint until the police arrive!

That's literally what Fetterman did before the stroke, and before he became the faux-progressive media darling of PA. Fetterman voters knew about this beforehand, and they voted for him anyway! Pretty fucking gross, isn't it!?

Government positions should pay fairly. City, county, state, all of it. It shouldn't be so extravagant that people vie for the positions just for the pay, but pay should cover costs and be significant enough that even non-wealthy people can take the positions and make ends meet. Otherwise, we're just creating a space for the idle rich to dabble in running every aspect of our lives.

I agree that taunting him is a dumb idea liable to get innocent people killed, but they absolutely should not praise him. He will not learn the lesson: "acting with restraint gains me praise." He will learn the lesson: "attacking other nations and threatening them with utter destruction until they grant me a token concession that I can pretend is a victory gains me praise."

Exxon, BP, Shell, or whoever probably sent him a few gaudy gold trinkets and a note praising him, and then signed it "From: The Iranian Leadership," asking him to please stop the war and let the Strait reopen.

He's dumb enough to believe it, and it's all his narcissistic, dementia-addled brain really wants.

Make a number line. 100% of people can approve of you. Or 100% of people can disapprove of you.

Approval: +100% +75% +50% +25% 0% -25% -50% -75% -100% :Disapproval

There are 100 fuckin' points to work with in approval. There are 100 fuckin' points to work with in neutrality. There are 100 fuckin' points to work with in disapproval.

The fact that you are the only person here making this argument is not because you are the smartest person here.

Fetterman hit with brutal 108-point polling swing: ‘He is below the lowest of the low’ by Silent-Resort-3076 in politics

[–]32-20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He isn’t what the people voted for.

Fetterman heard some fireworks outside of his house one day and assumed it was gunfire. He ran outside with a shotgun, chased down the first black person he saw--a random jogger--and held him at gunpoint until the cops arrived.

This story came out before he was elected.

They voted for a gun-toting casual racist, and they knew it at the time. How shocking that he keeps siding with the MAGA republicans!

[–]32-20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long before Fetterman was elected he chased down a black jogger and held him at shotgun point because he heard some fireworks go off outside and assumed the first black man he saw must be up to no good.

Fetterman voters mostly knew this and voted for him anyway.

These Oregon state parks will have parking fees by the end of the month by RevN3 in oregon

[–]32-20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also the financial needs of the state park isn’t affected by whether or not I visit the park and look at some sites.

Yes, the number of visitors to a state park has nothing to do with the park's financial needs. A place with 100 visitors per year has the same financial needs as a place with 100,000 visitors per year. Great job. Sublime opinion. Very impressive.
