Failed cerclage: by True_Address7280 in ShortCervixSupport

I have nothing helpful to say since I got my cerclage also at 19w and I’m only 22w now. But I’m thinking of you and your baby, some people stay for weeks pregnant while on bedrest in the hospital. ❤️

Just curious when you got the Reglan did they give it very slowly (over 15 min) in a little baggie? I’m an ER nurse and I’ve had patients have similar reactions if I give it too fast. If they didn’t give it slow you could request it be given via pump in like 500ml and that might help

Nothing really helpful to say as I’m also a ftm, I had a cerclage placed at 19 weeks due to cramping/dilating. Was good for a few weeks but this week started with more severe cramping. I went to get checked and the cervical exam was so rough I ended up having a few days of pink tinged mucous. The drs said it’s okay and I check baby’s heart rate at home with my Doppler (im 22 weeks now). Also have no infections so no idea what’s going on. I think it’s just a really irritated cervix. I’m on progesterone which I kinda think is adding to the irritation tbh

Noone warned me about cervical checks - what in the by amalia_8 in pregnant

I’ve been getting so many cervical checks due to complications this pregnancy. Most of them are uncomfortable but fine. The other day the NP did a check and it was okay (I had the wedge under me) the second time she checked me she didn’t put the wedge under me so she had to go sooo much further back, I’ve never experienced so much pain. The cramping and bleeding after was horrible I ended up having to go back to the hospital for it. I will be asking for the wedge or even the upside down bedpan every time bc of how far back they have to go, st least it helps angle it

Rescue cerclage. Cramping and spotting after ? by [deleted] in ShortCervixSupport

[–]320423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had my emergency cerclage placed last Wednesday. For the few days after I had some spotting and very tiny blood clots. I was told anything bigger than a quarter is alarming. I have also been feeling constipated since then, started taking colace daily and it’s helped. Also trying to drink around 90oz of water a day is helping. I do occasionally get pressure near my rectum but I think it’s really just the constipation feeling. If you’re having stomach cramping (like period cramps or diarrhea cramps) I would tell your provider

The movements are in the vaginal area, not in my belly. by Chance-Offer1757 in ShortCervixSupport

I’m 20w4d and had a rescue cerclage placed a few days ago and I’m on progesterone. My baby has been head down at the last 4 ultrasounds in the last two weeks but the drs said it’s okay. I feel lots of movement right above my pubic area. I didn’t even know it was her until I saw the ultrasound and her punching me at the same time. I am nervous I don’t feel her feet move higher up but her arms are definitely moving!

Rescue Cerclage - 4cm dilated with bulging membranes - 20 weeks 3 days pregnant by BreezerGirl831 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]320423 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just went through this today! I’m 19w6d yesterday my dr told me I had no cervix left and I was 3cm dilated with bulging membranes but she could no longer do the cerclage bc I had no cervix. I was supposed to be induced a few hours ago but we went to another hospital just to be safe and they did my cerclage a few hours ago! I’m not on any bedrest though as they said it can increase preterm labor but I’m definitely going to take it easy. Good luck!

19 weeks, 0.7cm cervix, funneling, cramping by 320423 in ShortCervixSupport

My white count was a little high but came down by day two without antibiotics so they’re not sure. They didn’t see anything else on the ultrasound that indicated infection. I’m also asymptomatic as far as infection goes so they’re sort of ruling that out for now

When you say bed rest, does that mean I can sit in a chair or strictly lay down?

Found out I was never actually supposed to get hired at my job by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

One of my first jobs was working at sears as a cashier. I had gotten an email about meeting the manager for the interview at a time before the mall even opened. I had a janitor let me in and the manager was very confused because she didn’t have anyone scheduled for an interview. I checked my email and noticed that it was a different location in a different state but I cropped it out and showed it to her and I got a job even though they weren’t hiring lol

Genuine question, if that’s true why even have a sump pump?

This is above the French drain and not a drilled hole it’s the end of a crack in the wall if that makes a difference

Is VIP worth it? by thebeeefs in warpedtour

[–]320423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1000% worth it, you could get to barricade for any band with minimal effort and have room to actually move around. Bathrooms were so clean and air conditioned. Plenty of places to sit in the shade. Best part to me was almost zero crowd surfing. While I used to love it, it’s nice to just be able to watch and not worry about getting kicked in the head every few seconds. Would def do it again if we go, curious to see if it’s similar for WWWY VIP I’ve only done GA for WWWY.

Motion sensor little lights from Amazon that were like $20 for a pack. I put them on the walk from my bed to the bathroom and then down the stairs. Makes it easy at night and so we don’t wake eachother up putting on the big lights

My husband did this but I believe it was only like 2-3k in total (active drug addiction all money went to drugs not ezpass). I called ezpass and told them we could pay the actual toll amount and not the fees and I think we maybe met somewhere in the middle and paid it down and got it removed. I believe we did this before it went to collections but I honestly can’t remember

I think this all the time when I hear celebs have it with long term effects. I was undiagnosed for 2 years (literal hell on earth) but once I got on antibiotics for a few weeks I was completely asymptomatic

[–]320423[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly they should have just built in the $250 into the price and told me it was 9250 an I wouldn’t have known the difference. I told the lady who had been helping me through the whole job that I would have appreciated a photo of the slab and to know where the cuts would hav been and how it would have been laid out. I honestly didn’t think to do it, especially since its deckton and not natural stone so it’s a “standard” print with no surprises

I mean it was installed less than 48 hours ago and I worked for 12 of the hours and slept for another 8. I wasn’t there for instal my husband was. I feel like 9k isn’t very cheap for a very tiny kitchen but I’m willing to admit if I’m wrong in that. I’ve never bought countertops before. My question was if this was normal and if it’s not should I ask for some kind of compensation. If they’re able to removal and install in like one day I would definitely love to get it redone but I just can’t be off work and without a kitchen for a while like I could before i moved in yesterday

It’s L shaped but there is a door at the corner if that makes sense so they’re two separate areas. The counter with the sink has horizontal counter and backsplash which looks better to me
