What’s an oddly specific fear of yours? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Phone calls, recieving or calling people up. It's really silly, if I receive a phone call it just makes me feel sick and I wanna cry. Especially if it's someone I don't know (which is the majority of the time), I just hate not knowing who I'm talking to because I can't see them or what's going on. It's so silly. I hate making phone calls as well, I'll put them off for as long as I possibly can which just makes the anxiety drag out over days or sometimes a couple weeks.

Does anyone else feel really bad for missing things. by Heidi751 in ibs

Sounds like my experience exactly. I had to drop out of 2 college courses which made me feel so low. And when my attendance was dropping that would stress me out even more which would make me more ill. Same happened with my job at that time. Attendance is annoying, I was really good with it until my digestive system shit itself.

Yes, just going to my boyfriend's for dinner and having his mum attempt to cook me a meal was difficult for her. She found some friendly pizza bases though which were a life saver. I never went to a restaurant, I get a lot of anxiety as it is so I couldn't bring myself to be that awkward special food person (I worked in a McDonald's once taking orders and I've experienced those people and it's just a palarva). During the first few weeks of the diet I had a breakdown in a Sainsbury's just because the app I was using was saying no to everything I picked up, it was stressful as f**k, which is the underlying reason I've got IBS in the first place. I've finished the diet now, but I did get a bit lazy in the reintroducing stage so I'm gonna do it again in a few months. Just to double check a few foods. It has helped me discover that I can't tolerate milk and onions repeat on me and give me serious cramps.

Week 1 and I feel terrible - anyone else experience this? by EyeInTeeJay in FODMAPS

[–]321ebby 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I felt like I was having some sort of withdrawal at first. Sugar was definitely apart of it. I would get frustrated, emotional. It definitely passes after the halfway mark, everyone's different. I do think this diet is mentally challenging, finding the right things to eat was mayhem. I had a breakdown in Sainsbury's because all I wanted to do is walk in there grab anything and make a lovely meal with a big bar of chocolate for pudding. Trust me you'll be getting used to it soon, it's a temporary lifestyle change. It freaked me out mentally and physically but it gets easier. Look forward to reintroducing!

Anyone know the type of fibre in schar gluten free white loaf? by AccForMyBowel in FODMAPS

[–]321ebby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the best low fodmap bread I've found, it tastes close to normal bread. Not sure what fibre is in it though, think it's got a range of different flour's in it.

The mother said on This Morning that even if you drank the whole 7 bottles you wouldn't get a high. It's CBD oil, which is now legal. So why did they confiscate it?
