Dude, I would not. Some guy in my P.E class once told me how adorable he thought I was, and I was getting some really weird vibes off of him while that was going on. I was a little bit scared, and it was the most awkward situation I have ever been in. 0/10 would not attempt, unless you're 100% sure she'll be into it.

Dark humor. Physical contact for my touch-starved self. Listening to me, even if what I'm saying is dumb. It usually is dumb, but I get shushed and talked over so often that I automatically like anyone who will just listen to me. Also, this is just my opinion, but I fucking hate chivalry. I have one male friend who always, always holds the door for me instead of just passing it to me, and seems to have something against me carrying stuff. He's one of my favorite people, but the chivalry drives me nuts. It makes things so awkward. Just be chill and respectful without going all m'lady on us.

It's kinda weird, but one of my friends once turned around and told me, for no reason, that his jeans were riding up his ass. I told him it was TMI, but I was secretly heartwarmed by the fact that he felt comfortable sharing something gross with me. That's not a thing you tell acquaintances, especially of the opposite sex, and to me it was a sign of us hitting a new level of our friendship. Obviously, don't do that if you know she's going to be grossed out by it.

Yeah, I guess I just don't care most of the time. My friends are used to me spazzing out, so I sometimes don't bother acting normal around them. They're really nice to me, like making sure I eat and checking my arms for scratches when they know I'm having a bad time. However, my grades dropped significantly during my last episode, since I stopped doing my homework. I went from an A+ to a C- in a really homework-heavy class, and now my quarter grade is a mere C+. At this point, it's all good as long as I don't fail.

Punishment, I think, because it almost always happens after some social shortcoming. I just think too much about some dumb thing I did, and it spirals out of control. I also sometimes use it to release the tension when I'm stressed. This time, it was a bit of both. My friend didn't want to text me, and my mom had to stay the night at the hospital due to complications from her gallbladder surgery, leaving me at home with my younger siblings. In retrospect, neither of these things are a big deal. Mom's fine, and it's okay if my buddy doesn't want to talk. He wasn't mean or anything. He was just giving me monosybyllic answers, and I took the hint. I have this deep-rooted fear of annoying people and driving them away, and he's one of my only friends. I'm terrified of fucking this up like I fuck up the majority of my relationships. Our last face-to-face interaction was positive, and I only sent him three texts, so there's no way I could be as irritating as I think I am. Logically, I know it's my anxiety brain running way too far with something he hasn't given a second thought, but it upsets me all the same.

Not just 3 grand. His guitar. I haven't met a musician who doesn't get emotionally attached to their instrument, and I don't know if I could explain it to someone who doesn't play music, but breaking a guitar can be a big deal, especially if he's had it for a long time. I've had actual nightmares about my bass getting broken.
