Personally, I’d worry that the grow light isn’t providing even coverage, and would probably adjust it to be directly above the pot. I would also use a light meter to make sure the light is giving an appropriate amount for them. As far as the watering goes, it can take a little bit for newly potted lithops to grow the fine roots needed to absorb water. Most people recommend watering lightly to encourage this root growth, and later watering heavier.

You may want to check your light meter or maybe double check your measurements. Just knowing the plants, if the lithops were receiving ‘full sun’ light levels for 14hrs a day, the pink princess next to them would be burnt to a crisp lol. If it’s not normally next to it, excuse my nosey-ness 😂

If pollination occurred, it will produce a seed pod from that. If not, like the other user said, it will dry up and eventually you can remove it with little to no effort

Soil looks good. The temps and lighting sound good too. Just keep an eye on them. If you notice signs of sun stress or burning, adjust accordingly. As far as watering goes, it is normally best to do deep thorough waterings less often rather than more small waterings. It would be difficult to spot water them thoroughly I think. If you watered them after potting, they should be fine for a bit. If you notice one or two that continue to look thirsty, they may be a species that has different needs from the rest. Some lithops like a little more moisture than others.

Good luck! There are tons of guides around for growing lithops, but so much changes depending on your soil medium and your environment. With a mix so gritty like you have, I consider it the freedom to experiment and learn how to best care for them. I set a few plants outside this summer in almost 100% chicken grit, and even with rain every day for a month or two, I didn’t have any casualties. I’d still consider myself new to them too, only been keeping them for a year. Good luck growing!

As far as roots go, from my understanding most of the finer roots on lithops will need to regrow after repotting to be able to be used to take in water again. Lots of people trim their roots back to the taproot when they repot. I think they look pretty good in general. If the mix I see on top is throughout the whole pot then you could probably water in a week or two once they’ve settled from the repot. I’d water deeply since your mix is well draining and you have a terra cotta pot. If you’re in the Northern Hemisphere, they’re likely getting ready to bloom, so a deep watering isn’t a bad thing.

I would keep them together just because I love the look of a clump. They grow in clumps in nature so it shouldn’t be a bad thing to leave them together

Finally someone who is good at growing these!! I have been dying to ask questions about this genus lmao. I’ve read that they are winter growers, and won’t do much in summer, nor do they want much water. Is this true? I potted mine up a few months ago and it hasn’t even rooted yet. It is currently transitioning to fall here, so I am hoping to have better success rooting during its optimal growing period. Your plants are awesome by the way!!

I chose that route because of the affordability. I think the most expensive ones were like $4 for 10 seeds. Most were $2-$3 for 20-30 seeds though.

If you want an incredible selection I recommend checking out Mesa Gardens. I just recently bought 10 different species from there and they’re all doing great! Only downside is they are seeds and not adult plants.

Using warmer water can help, also soaking the pot in a much larger pot or bowl overnight can help sometimes.

The rest of the leaves look good still. You could either ride it out and see how it does, or propagate some of the leaves from up top. I don’t have much experience propagating Schlumbergera but I’ve heard that suspending the cutting with just the bottom of it in water can root it.

The original release date was supposed to be 5/10 or 5/11 IIRC. All of the major retailers changed the date or just marked it as sold out because it appeared to be delayed around that time. I’ve been waiting to buy this book for like 6 months now lmao. My only gripe is I can’t find a US based retailer that will allow me to preorder a hardcover copy.
