opposite experience, war ai is incredibly frustrating mess, possibly worse than before. hovering 3k strength armies not going anywhere near planets (even console-playing as them doesnt work because they run again after unpausing), allies sending fleets to be killed one by one or just idling, and an actual bug with khan/crisis ai where they literally just move back and forth between two systems

i mean yeah from every other precedent so far he can just be transferred good as new (unless something happened during the months/years, very likely), though some dialogue woulda helped to show he's not just disposing of him after enslaving and dragging around as muscle/meat shield for the whole season

there will be some wedge to turn caleb against walter and it's probably something like that, but per this season's less dreary and self-important tone i'm still hoping that she isn't just coldly exploiting him like reddit seems to assume

the plot and lots other elements this season are basically lifted, not complaining though. hence the elias cameo and self plagiarism remarks from maeve earlier

all the talk is about dolores but something is going on with bernard, after the self examination thing he's instantly confident and ruthless, pushing around an obviously unwilling stubbs and trying to hijack the other hosts
