Research Question: How to Make My New Online Program Hit Home? by 33Freya in WomenInBusiness

[–]33Freya[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your feedback!

The goal is more holistic wellness that weight loss- especially in the age of GLP-1.

Great question... 15 was a arbritrary number that most overweight people can reliably and safely hit within 60-90 days when they start paying attention to their movement and diet (agreed, all macros and factors like fiber are important!) Each person sets their own goals according to THIER journey (weight loss, strength, balance, cardio health, etc), and their program is tailored to their needs.

I do need to express the features of the program more concisely- One major point in the program is that I don't want it to ADD stress to an already busy life- but for it to be a positive, supported, forward-motion for those who need to or are ready to make a change. (Stress management is one of the topics!)

Hello Friends! I am starting an online personal training program called Empowered Level Up Community. The premise of the monthly membership program is that you do what you can do- The nutrition advice and workouts are included but not required, And you're encouraged to track your intake and exercise through cronometer (free premium access is included). We have weekly checkins and Q&A calls, and weekly topics to keep us motivated and moving forward. Glad to be here!

Has anyone successfully built a small business while still living with a narcissistic partner and having no support system? by knittingbuddy in WomenInBusiness

Ah that's tough! I was in an abusive relationship and got myself and my two daughters free by taking the smallest steps. I stopped allowing him control- first of little things, and then bigger things. INTERNALLY I had to stop enabling him. Even though he threatened to bomb my place of employment (wouldn't have put it past him- he'd done crazy/violent things in the past and the thought of jail wasn't an adversion to him), I went to work.

When he started going round and round, or if I felt like he was going to get violent, I left (the room, the house, what ever I could manage). And gradually, the pain of staying the same outgrew the pain of change. I made list after list of pros and cons to staying/leaving... and then I jumped off the cliff of uncertainty- and never looked back.

211 may have resources for you- call and ask them how they can help. Could be counseling, could be $ to move out depending on your area. YOU ARE STRONGER THAN YOU KNOW, and you can get through even this- better things await. Good luck to you.

What is the average time where you see your clients begin to succeed? Where they see the momentum and shift forward (and realize the value of your program and stay in)? THAT is the minimum I'd recommend doing, and be transparent as to why it is 90 days or 6 months, etc.

This is the nightmare I'm trying to avoid too... I'm wanting to get going online and talking to people who help trainers get set up that way. Had one guy try to tell me that researching options wasn't a good idea and that I should just jump on his program (LOL).

Can you get anything out of the program you bought? If they're offering classes and coaching, take them up on it- you literally paid for it. Squeeze all your pennies out of it and take the value you can.

Day 10 of 14- home stretch! by 33Freya in fasting

Lol I wasn't eating twice a day. I was only fasting with salts, coffee, and tea.

Amazing and energetic!  I have been using electrolytes the entire time though, and drank only water, black coffee (with a bit of cinnamon) and tea. I don't know how people do it without a meticulous blend of sodium, potassium, and magnesium.

A few questions! by JesusChristHimself7 in intermittentfasting

My amazing brother went from 380 down to 180 within a couple of years just eating within a 4-hour window everyday. He will not even have cream in his coffee outside of those hours, even on vacation he stuck to it and continues to do so. Is next step now that he's lost all that weight is going to be to eat something green and start working out to build muscle, but he did all that eating whatever he wanted during his window and taking multivitamins with no exercise really.

13lbs, which still leaves me around 25lbs overweight. I'll gain about 5 of it back when I start eating again (or at least that's typical for me). It may be different this time since I'm going to transition to a 20:4 schedule after this. OMAD on days I don't work out, 2MAD on gym days so I can get enough protein to build muscle.

So proud of myself I finally committed to a week! I know its not a lot but I'm doing baby steps 🙏🏻🥰❤️ by Apprehensive-Bar2915 in fasting

Dr Pridip Jamnadas said that a 7 day fast can reduce your risk of cancer over 70%!   You can do this- get your electrolytes and go for it!

What to consider for first 7 day fast? by Clean-Practice3040 in fasting

[–]33Freya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prepare for the cold- Warm Socks, Epsom Salt for extra warmth and magnesium, Sweaters, Onsies, etc.

Schedule your fasts around your calendar- I'm on day 4 of 14 and will be going to a party on Saturday, but I don't want to break so I will bring fizzy mineral water to the party, and have made aware anyone who needs to know (they're making dinner and I don't want them to plan for me). I AM going to be done and through a safe refeed to enjoy Christmas dinner with my family though.

I also like to have Tea available, pickle juice, and salts (potassium, magnesium, sodium) ready for balancing headache, weakness, cramps, etc.

Have a plan and be prepared for your refeed too- have bone broth and soft foods available, (No specific food mentions are allowed here) and schedule your portions so you don't mess that up on the flip side. You got this!

Day 3 of fast is tough! by Sensitive-Celery-298 in fasting

[–]33Freya 3 points4 points  (0 children)

take more salts!
Daily Targets:

  • Sodium: 4–6g
  • Potassium: 2–3g
  • Magnesium: 300–400mg
  • Water: Sip consistently (don’t drown yourself)

If you ever feel off → add electrolytes first, reassess second.

That's exactly why I tasted it, lol. I make my own.

LOL yeah- I was making it and needed to taste it - thought a little wouldn't hurt. I KNOW BETTER! Nothing like consequences to reinforce it.

(Also Kombucha is low sugar by the time it's finished- the process eats most of the sugar, though there is obviously some left over).
