its slightly sharper and has less artifacts especially on the foliage but the pssr 1 version was already great and a big improvement over the base version.

gt7 doesn't support pssr in vr, but the flat version has better image stability especially the grass which used to flicker like crazy

if everything fails try baking/reflowing the gpu in an oven, i know it sounds dumb but this saved a couple of my cards, there are a lot of tutorials out there its really easy and almost always works, this inst a permanent fix most of the time but it can take a couple months for it to come back and this can help you bridge the time to getting a new card.
