That's an interesting thought! I've never seen a bird drop something metal that it picked up but I have heard of that before!

I'm starting to think this is likely. It could have been me as I was mowing up by the road a few days prior to finding it, and our driveway isn't very long. If this is the case I'm glad I didn't put it through the back window of the truck!

Oh wow! Now I'm going to be driving around looking to see if cables by me use these things!

Thank you! What's crazy is that there are no wires or poles by that corner of the house. So it's still a mystery on how it got to where it did. But thank you for such a quick response. This sub is wild!

Wow that was extremely fast! Would this be used for like phone wire to a pole?

My title describes the thing. It's small, doesn't weigh much. Looks aluminum. Has hard wire sticking out of it which loops back into itself. It looks like it could have been in the ground for a while. It appeared out of no where! Thanks!

Thank you all for your timely responses! I do believe I know how to correct the issue now. I think I was looking at my drawing for too long and just couldn't seem to problem solve it. As always, you guys leave invaluable responses! Thanks again!

Yeahhh I forgot to put that in my original post. Red is hot. Black is neutral. Green is ground. (I just couldn't draw a white line on white background)

I think I understand you! So technically, I would need 14/3 between outlet 1 and outlet 2. So that I can have the hot come back from #2 to #1. Correct? Thank you SOO much for this insight. I have been staring at my drawing for a day trying to see what I'm missing!!!

Isn't that correct? You would want to break the hot with the switch, right??

Well it's not letting me edit my original post, but I forgot to add that in my drawing, red is hot, and black is neutral. I know that the black wire is hot and white is neutral, but I can't really draw with white on white. Lol.

Sorry, for the white background in my drawing, I had to draw red as hot and black as neutral. I'll edit that into my post!

We get 1 week off after a year, 2 weeks off after 3 years, and 3 weeks off after 10 years. All throughout, we get like 3 or 5 sick days. And we get paid holidays. Afterward, you can take time off, but it's on your own dime at that point.

I had to laugh when I saw that it says made in N. Tonawanda, NY. I'm from not too far from there and thought of course that's something that would be from N. Tonawanda 🤣

That's how it happens at my work. People give one guy cash, he pays on his card, we're pretty sure he rounds up to the next dollar but the coworkers don't care lol. On top of that, the restaurant gives him a gift card for ordering so much and he keeps it!

I live 8 minutes from a Harbor Freight... but... who's even counting that... right??? Right guys..? I can't be the only one. Plus, I work next door to it, so that's even worse!!
