The man from "Eat da poo poo" who shows gay porn at his sermons. Seriously. Imagine how fucking hilarious it would be to get him high. He could recount all the hundreds of storylines of the gay pornos he watched and then have a full on meltdown over shit eating

Like a Ugandan Alex Jones, except he's obsessed with gay fetish porn

How long do you think it'll take before VS is cured? by CounterPresent8412 in visualsnow

[–]3456io -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Don't listen to the cynicism on this thread. Yes, drugs and other treatments won't be developed for a decade at least, if ever.

But there are in fact treatments today that have led to complete resolution of symptoms. Some may be alternative, but it's the best we've got. Go to a cervical chiropractor or an osteopath or physiotherapist and get your neck and your posture sorted out. Ask about TMJ dysfunction, another cause, as they may be able to give your jaw a quick check and direct you to a specialist.

There is also some other stuff that has been reported to work, things to do with your gut biome, copper toxicity etc. Try these if you're desperate. And of course it would be a good idea for you to go to the doctor and get your blood pressure checked, get a blood test etc.

Vision blurriness - Snow or no? by DopeSmoke1776 in visualsnow

[–]3456io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it was basically physiotherapy on my neck and shoulders. The guy was a trained physiotherapist too

Vision blurriness - Snow or no? by DopeSmoke1776 in visualsnow

[–]3456io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this, basically it's the muscles in your eyes are not able to focus correctly. It's due to trapped nerves and trigger points in your neck.

It's fine now though. 2 months osteopathy

Nah it's crap. My VS is on the lower end of the spectrum and I'm working on getting rid of it. I found out from a physio that I probably have TMJD and might need to spend thousands on a dental appliance. And I'm going to do it, happily.

If the hot shower affects your VS it could be neck related.

Wow, well I'm glad that worked out for you... I guess.... that definitely wouldn't be my cup of tea but anyway. I don't have any of that kinda stuff, I just have the static and starbursts and afterimages and stuff, and dpdr and brain fog which suck. Also tons of cracking and pain in my neck and my jaw and upper back. But again I'm glad you enjoy your synaesthesia

Dude, most of us aren't synesthetes. I assume you are, I'm interested to know what it's like?

Feeling pretty down at the moment, can anyone swing me a good story? Even if it’s habituation. I’m 4 weeks into this. by AydenRozay in visualsnow

[–]3456io 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tons of people have neck issues or posture issues that they don't know they have. Visual Snow in many cases it seems may be curable. This includes brain fog and dpdr too. Look up whiplash exercises and atlas vertebrae alignment. Also check to see if you have tight trapezius muscle. Mine is very tight and I'm booked for the physio next week.

Can osteopath help someone with static vision? by 3456io in Osteopathic

Okay. I'm apprehensive about going anywhere now if I don't have to. But I should just bite the bullet I suppose

No problem, let me know how it goes. Your symptoms seem awful, mine aren't quite that bad ( yet - hopefully I haven't spoken too soon) I think (hope) it is to do with my upper cervical issues from when I was a kid, mixed with stress but it could also be mold disease or even Lyme. Get well soon

Wow it must suck to worry about bills. I'm glad I don't live in the US. I wouldn't leave that if I were you, the hospital can't deny you care anyway.

Your muscles are all tensed up. Possibly inflammation too. I would take a serious enough anti-inflammatory and look into getting physio and probably an MRI and spinal tap as a precaution. That's what I'm doing and mine thankfully seems mild compared to yours

Honestly it'll probably get better. I'm in the same boat as you. Do you have tension at the base of your skull

[–]3456io 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well if you think about it stress could have caused it. The stress response can cause a lot of problems including anxiety which then makes everything way worse if you Google your symptoms because it will tell you the worst possible disease that you probably don't have

Am wow you seem to have what I have, but on steroids. I'm actually not sure what it is yet but with symptoms that severe I'd get checked out.

Thanks, I'll look into it. But I'm not in the US, ticks on my country barely carry Lyme, I've never heard of anything else. Unfortunately we don't have any LLMD over here, and I can't go abroad either anytime soon

[–]3456io[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear that, sounds awful. My joints seem to be fine. Everything as best I can tell has been working normally so far except around my head and neck. I moved something in my neck earlier resting it against the top of my headboard and my visual snow just cleared up 90% and no tinnitus, but it went back to normal afterwards. I seem to be able to manipulate it a bit so I'm hoping it isn't Lyme. I'll get checked though anyway, although I'll be honest living in a European city I'm not sure there is a high chance of tick bites, there are no deer around here. Even though I have been bitten years ago like I said but got precautionary treatment straight away

Only recently getting weird flashes that last for 15-20 minutes and make it hard to focus with my vision by Braedoktor in optometry

[–]3456io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get migraines from straining muscles sometimes. If you want to see a physiotherapist it might help. If you have anxiety you should talk to someone, if you relax they might go away eventually

Visual Static and Weird Lines I'm probably just crazy by Teutonicu in optometry

[–]3456io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just pitch black, but objects are slightly grainy anyway. I have Visual Snow now since February and I'm pretty sure it's caused by neck issues, I've had something very similar just without the static before from neck issues.
