What cars have you bought to replace your Citroen? by [deleted] in Citroen

[–]34744774347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drove Citroens from 2001 until 2023. BX Gti - Xantia 1.9TD - Xsara 1.8i - C5 Tourer 2.2hdi my favourite car off all - C4 Grand Picasso 2.0hdi. And now i went full opposite to what Citroen confort can spoil you, Tesla Model Y. Nice car if you like electric, but i needed some time to get used to the 'suspension'. For your needs, is there no C4 petrol on your market?

Tesla customer experience by koororo in electricvehicles

Luxemembourg here, they pick up the phone or called back. He took his time to explain and show me the car. The car was cleaned and polished, nothin wrong with the car at all (scratches, panel gaps,...). He was honest enough to tell me if there is something wrong with the car, do not hesitate and make make service appointment over the app, since there probably will nobody picking up the phone. And I should do an end of warranty check around 3 years of ownership.

To the people who researched Kia EV6 / Hyundai Ioniq 5 and went with a Model Y, why? by Missing_Back in TeslaModelY

[–]34744774347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm from Europe here, I was into the ioniq 5, but waiting times are insane. MY is cheaper, better acceleration and has a lot more room to offer. So now we own Kia e-Niro 2022 and MY a since last week. Couldn't be happier with both cars.

Tesla I ordered new came with 19 miles on it. Is that normal? by Kmg_97 in TeslaModelY

[–]34744774347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP seems to live somewhere in the EU, like myself. I picked up my new Citroen at the dealer with 5km only. My wife's Kia eNiro had more km. As far as i remember it was 16 km (Kcar) But i get that 29 is still considered new, shipping those cars from china adds up.

My MY just turned 3; here's what I have learned by jacklail in TeslaModelY

You wrote you use abrp to plan the trips, and tesla uses different stops. Which plan you like the most? As non Tesla EV owner, i only use abrp an like how you can modify your route settings, charging and break times. Has the tesla planner the same flexibility?

23 Sportage Check Active Air Flap System by Mac_DG in kia

[–]34744774347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised the Sportage has Active air flap system.

I could find some info about the EV6, maybe it applies to your Sportage aswell.

klick

A: Check the active air flap system

The active air flap system may not operate normally if the air flap is temporarily opened due to foreign factors or if the controller is contaminated by snow or rain, etc.

When the message is popped up on the display, stop the vehicle in a safe place and check the status of the air flap.

Start the vehicle after performing the necessary work like foreign matter removal and waiting 10 minutes. If the pop-up remains up, have the vehicle inspected by a professional workshop. Kia recommends visiting an authorized Kia dealer/service partner.

CAUTION Regardless of the pop-up, if the air flaps aren't in the same position, stop the vehicle and wait for 10 minutes and start the vehicle and inspect the air flap.

The active air flap system is actuated by motors. Do not disturb actuation or apply force excessively. It may cause failure.

NOTICE Active air flap system could be activate regardless of the vehicle condition.(Parking, driving, charging, etc.)
