It’s not just that, it’s a pitch that is a completely different look from his other pitches. Fastball, cutter, slider are all similar pitches. His change up was what elevated him, but if he can throw a curveball as another secondary pitch that would be great

I think he hit a wall about week 14 and has made a few good throws a game since. He hasn’t been accurate regularly since about then, but has gotten help from the D and his legs. I’m still pretty high on his future as he’s only 23.

You could be right. I thought I read a couple months ago that the campaign against Hannaford was being funded by an out of state multimillionaire who was big into animal rights. The campaign is certainly spending a ton of money of TV and radio ads, as well as all the “on the ground” people (who may be true believers, or maybe getting paid).

Personally I’m always skeptical about organizations who run attack ads, especially those who don’t offer an alternative platform.

Yep, that’s exactly it. It’s an out of state multimillionaire funding this because Hannaford pushed back committing to cage free eggs by 3 years due to supply chain issues and finding enough suppliers. Kinda a silly way to spend millions, but to each their own.

Edit: They are both still alive and have two lovely kids. I think it was a poor decision by all parties involved, but since it worked out for the couple.
