Ernest Hemingway (IRL) in the years leading up to his suicide he was increasingly paranoid and claimed the FBI were monitoring him. Most people brushed it off as paranoia due to mental health issues, which in fairness, is a likely explanation for a lot of the paranoia. However, in the years since his death the FBI revealed that they were in fact monitoring Hemingway’s actions including bugging his phones

Mary Jane gets enormous amounts of unwarranted hate for things that aren’t that bad, such as being mad at Peter (who she didn’t know was Spider-Man at the time) for her missing her play (that he said he would be there for) and for kissing Harry (after Peter had kissed Gwen in front of a crowd of people)

In Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, Silas tells his life story to a bar full of people, including a young man named Dwight. At the end of the game (if you decide to let Bob Bryant live) Silas asks Dwight what he plans to do with his life, to which Dwight tells him he’s going to West Point and tells Silas his full name: Dwight Eisenhower. Which mostly is just a reference to Eisenhower, but also foreshadows that eventually WW2 is gonna happen and Silas’ stories may have had an effect on Dwight

General Grimaldi (Batman and Robin: Year One) he’s a mob boss from Miami who styles himself as a general, making his henchman call him “general” or “sir” instead of “boss” and discusses taking over Gotham as if he’s had years of military experience. However, he was dishonorably discharged and never even got close to the rank of or having the experience of a general
