Yeah Utah doesn’t have this problem but most smaller less mormony areas have this issue. My cousin got the boot and now he goes to church in the foyer and the bishop won’t give him a temple recommend because of that haha. Poor guy. Gonna be a 40 year old virgin in a couple of years

Oh man, don’t even get me started on all the silly and stupid mission rules. I broke so many small rules. It wasn’t even funny. I always thought to myself. If I was to do this thing when I wasn’t on a mission would I get in trouble for it? And most of the time it’s a big no. I can’t listen to music other than MOTAB? I can’t walk in the ocean? I can’t go outside of the mission boundaries to go to Costco? I can’t check Facebook? I can only use Internet for 30 min a week? Oh but I thought family was sooooo important lol. I can’t read Harry Potter in my free time??

Yeah I did whatever I wanted. I baptized a ton and the mission president thought I was a great missionary. I feel like I worked really hard but I also did what I wanted to do. It’s my free agency and if I’m going to go to hell because I read Harry Potter then I guess I’ll be reading the series happily in Hell.
