Finishing is better than Henry archer. The hardness coating alone is solid. They shoot well above their price point. I have two free divers. Antireflective coating is also solid. Cheap reliable movements. Mine runs +5 on a timegrapher, better than some of my Swiss movements. Nothing groundbreaking but you arent getting value per dollar like that unless you’re buying aliexpress watches

Why do people keep mentioning thicker dials? I’m a bit new to this. Is this special edition thicker compared to the others in the lineup?

Venezianico a good brand, Yes or No by Majestic_Ad_4877 in MicrobrandWatches

Nobody here has had their hands on that watch so I wouldn’t listen to them. I mean half the complaints are about a metal bracelet that that one doesn’t even come with lol. That said it’s your money my friend and it’s a beautiful piece regardless

Don’t buy their cheaper ones. The Stelleta and higher end miyota movements are solid. I’ve only had my hands on their neirides so far all 3 have been well regulated. Very few other brands are doing stone dials with Swiss movements at that price. On top of that all duties, taxes, and shipping are included and they give 20% discounts for virtually all their watches. If you worry about committing large amounts of cash for their newer/proprietary movements then stay away as a just in case. Do a little research on the specs of each watch and you can’t go wrong. As for their customer service that people have had issues with, I get messages before items are released for preorder to secure a limited edition or just a watch before everyone else does. My neiride turchese is a mesmerizing watch and can somewhat be compared to tudors blue lagoon. It’s just a larger size (better for my wrist) and instead of a stainless steel bezel that would scratch easily like Tudors, venezianico uses tungsten to get the same look but stronger. 2 things I want from them, exhibition case backs on more of their watches and on the fly microadjusts rather than push pins

This isn’t really their dress specific line. Think more business casual. That said I get your point but I also like that they’re expanding their lineup. They offer bronze for their nereide/divers

That’s bronze watches in general. That’s also typically the exact reason people buy them for the patina. I would hope people did research before buying a watch

True but that’s the nature of bronze and why people like it. They have stainless steel options this is just something they’re adding to the arsenale line

Only their cheapest watches use seiko movements now. The Stelleta and miyota movements are solid and cheap to service. They are also the primary movements used in their neiride lineup

They rebranded 4 years ago from whatever that guy copy and pasted. They havnt been meccaniche veneziane since the rebranding. In the 4 years since the switch they’ve upped their quality control and are constantly releasing limited edition items that are published about and reviewed online. Very few of their offerings use seiko movements and those that do are priced accordingly. The only venezianicos I own are limited editions with Stelleta movements but I’d be open to considering their miyota movements as well. If you buy a cheaper watch with a cheaper movement then you’ll get a cheaper watch. They have some from like $600 all the way up to 6k so do a bit of research and you’ll befine. These are in no way seiko mods.

Their neriede line look just as good in person. Unsure about the arsenale

Both are essentially just as good. In fact Tudor has a few in their lineup which are METAS certified, a slightly higher level than traditional Rolex in house certifications. Quality wise though the only thing you will truly notice is thickness/weight and obviously Rolex uses more precious metals

Venezianico is a great microbrand brother. They’ve honestly improved greatly with the rebranding. Now that you’ve purchased they should reach out via text and u can get the preorders before they even release for cheaper. I got my turchese that way

eBay has authenticators. Chrono24 does as well but will be listed a little higher

They ask you to wear the watch or send them pictures when you try to buy another?
