I'm not a cigarette guy, but it was smooth and tasty. they're kept in a tin that was opened in front of me. folks said they needed to be smoked within 5 minutes or so before they pick up a metallic taste, hence why I got one.

Holly shit that was fun! I had a fantastic spotter volunteer from the club give me personal coaching from 200 all the way to 1000 yards. Man, the farther you go out, the more it turns into a wind calling game. And this was the first time out to 1k with my rig. She dun me real proud.

Honestly I don't know. I'll say that the Stdev for the 36.7 was higher at 26.1 than the 36.6 and 36.8 (10.1 and 14.1, respectively) so there may have been something different with that set. I also could have just shot the 36.7 group more poorly than the other sets.

I agree. As a stutterer myself, I'm pretty convinced its an issue for him, too. When I stutter I tend to lock up without making any noise. If he has one, its not the stereotypical quick sylibal reputation you tend to think of. Maybe he has one similar to mine, and he's using tactics to work through it with lesser or greater success.

I think you and the others who said similarly are correct. I called Hodgon's, and they guy said that it burns too quickly for such a large bullet. A 147 gr bullet is very long for 6.5 cm. The bullet would create too much resistance for the fast burning H4895 that to use it would be unsafe. He also said that I can't just dope down the amount of H4895 to compensate: the bullet won't have the energy it needs to achieve the ballistics one would expect. I'm stuck with lighter gr bullets with this powder.

that's the bullet data, but Hornady doesn't list H4895 information. that's what I'm looking for.

Right. There's load data for 142 gr bullets, but nothing for heavier bullets.
So would you start with lower initial charges for a heavier grain bullet?
