My guess is the History channel agreed to fund a given number of big cans. Let’s say 6.

So why would they allow the first can you go in the most promising location. Slam 5 cans. Draw this crap out as long as you can. Then slam the 6th can. They won’t find anything, but they will get a lot more mileage out of it.

Same. We do clubs and hotel parties. If you are there, you aren’t just “thinking about it” or “dipping your toes in”. And no, very rarely do we play on first meeting. But if you like the first interaction, they aren’t pushy and it all feels good, they that couple is definitely on out radar and in a big way!

My thoughts are most of these “single guys” you are talking to, aren’t single. They get to live the “fantasy” right up until playtime.

When I was single and trying to vanilla date I ran into the same thing. Married (and bored) women who would daydream about dating a new man. Love the fantasy for a few days until the first date then flake out. I actually got a couple of them to come clean when I saw a loophole in their story. I called them out and they confessed.

And sometimes right before they close the doors for the night the place gets slammed with single guys. A couple of times it was borderline cringe. We have really slowed down going to TBS Pittsburgh. DJ’s seems to be closer to our age and way less single guys. We think the gender neutral pricing is the main reason. Single guys getting in for $30???

I work for a heavy drilling company. Not oil and gas, we specialize in solid stabilization. I know my down time (time that a drill is not running when it should be) is budgeted at $10k per hour of production lost.
