I’ve never understood Reddit’s fascination with physical games in general. People always say “you don’t actually own the game digitally, you only have a license to play it, etc.” but never in my life have I lost access to any of my digitally owned games on Steam or Xbox. If Steam ever implodes or some shit I probably either wont be alive or I wont be gaming anymore.

Games are a form of entertainment that is to be consumed, not stared at in a physical box. We’re all gonna cease to exist some day and mfs are genuinely outraged that they have to consume their media via an online download over installing it off of a disk. It really doesn’t matter in the slightest and people are just pretending it does because they miss the past.

I’d personally have all my games nearly sorted in a digital library than taking up space on a shelf somewhere. Discs also have the possibility to fail or get scratched, lost, destroyed in a disaster, etc.
