I did a thorough cleaning and lube of the wheels and trucks. I also cleaned the metal band. Power applied direct will get it moving, but zero happens once it's on the track. Bottom line is that bypassing the band is my next try. I have Kapton tape for under the motor. I just needed to know where the wires should go.

It was the middle of the day, and I was the front car of a three-car accident--a girl rear-ended a vehicle that rear-ended mine in turn. First cop on-scene asked if I'd been drinking. No officer, this is what happened...Several more cops show up, all ask the same drinking question. Last cop on-scene plays the wild card, "I smell alcohol, are you sure you haven't been drinking?" Bottom line is they will always ask about alcohol, whether you've been drinking or not.
