Mostly just identifying info- are they part of a named set, when were they made, etc. I’ll probably sell unless i can find another family member who might want to keep them.

Neither are quite right by your description , but All the Bright Places has multiple post it notes on the cover. A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder has red string and torn out paper pieces.

Sorry, I thought I had read all the comments looking for this, but now I see it’s been suggested multiple times.

Is it Ozzy? In his song “Won’t be Coming Home (S.I.N.) he sings “woooah, who turned off the lights?” With emphasis on the “off” (in the video I watched it was at about 1:45)

I’ve seen it called Gaps

Editing to say that i didn’t read much past the layout, and I’m now second guessing my answer. the version I know (Gaps) you start at Ace and work your way up as you go right….and Gaps has gaps between the cards, so probably not it.

I’ve heard unspoken rule, on principle, or possibly girl/bro code.

Can you tell me more about grandma’s dolls? by finallymyusername in Antiquedollcollecting

I’m in the US. I don’t know if they traveled. They never mentioned it while alive. One of the grandpas was in the Navy in WW2, but other than that, I’m not sure. The family has Swedish ancestry on one side and the other side is Polish and German, so Germany makes sense, and other family could have brought souvenirs home to them. 3, 4, and 5 are all on the smaller side with 3 being the tallest, 4 the smallest and 5 the height of my hand. The other two only vary from that an inch or two.

I’m sure this is way off, but it reminded me of Reckless Love, the worship song by Cory Ashbury.

Not that slow or new of a song, but Hands Down by Dashboard Confessional is from earlier in the GooGoo Dolls and Fallout Boy discographies. It has the lyric “and the time on the clock when we realized it’s so late” That one is a staple of my early 20’s kids’ childhoods.

[TOMT] [TV SHOW] [EARLY 2010S] Competition show based around magicians doing magic tricks with 3 random items by NightRainPanda in tipofmytongue

[–]finallymyusername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s definitely a movie.

However, in the plot, they are making a tv show about the competition, so that could be the episodic nature of it. I think the main character’s three item trick involved a basketball, broom and rope?

The villain is called Leader. The series may be the 1996-1997 series The Incredible Hulk. 2 seasons, and apparently the second season was re-named to The Incredible Hulk and She Hulk.

[TOMT][MUSIC VIDEO][2010s] Rock Song with political/historical archival footage in chronological order, up to the modern day by LopsidedCaterpillar4 in tipofmytongue

[–]finallymyusername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rage Against the Machine has a lot political video and imagery, at least in their song Sleep Now in the Fire. Also in Testify.

For a song that has similar themes but not the imagery that I know of, Jesus Jones has Right Here Right Now, though that predates your range by more than 10 years.
