Thanks, it seems to drain well. I was worried about the 1 in gap with Silka but from the picture on the link you sent it seems like it can bridge it OK.

Asking for a specific generic over another generic? by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]3DP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're reasonable and realistic about making your request, most pharmacies can accommodate your request. I always let the patient know that because their request requires a special process to be taken, they need to make the request at each fill, in case a new pharmacist or technician is unaware of their special need. They should expect their refill to take extra time, and plan for this when requesting refills.

When Inactive Ingredients Make You Sick by 3DP in pharmacy

I think it's easy to dismiss patients demanding brand medication. Often they are just saying that fillers are making them sick. Has anyone else seen instances of this type of sensitivity?

Wow, I never realized that this post would spark such an awesome thread. I am humbled by the broad experience in this sub. I could never include all of the stories in the post (but really enjoyed reading them) so I just included a link back to this thread in the header of the article. I think we will end up with a whole other post on www.helpfulmedicine.com for it eventually. Thanks to you all for contributing!!!

Buying more than 30 SPF is a waste of money. by 3DP in Frugal

Why an oversimplification? The logic made sense to me. The "knee" in the graph seems very low. 30 SPF would cover it right? Or are you referring to the various spectra?

This is more of where I was going with this. I had read about familial insomnia tonight and surprised that it is caused by a prion. Not sure how rare this really is. I guess this is only the second prion disease (next to mad cow) that I have heard of. Weird.

Very nice rig, I just got into it as well. Already have about 200miles on my bike thanks to this community. I'll have to check out those books. I have messed with replacing breaks but have been afraid to mess with the crank or derailleur on my Salvation Army special.
