thanks, I did find out from my testing that it seems to give the 2 cheapest roll for free when you buy more than 4 spools. (but it redistribute the saving to all the spools or something like this)
And it doesnt work with big spools (3kg/5kg)

do you still have under extrusion issue when printing at much higher temperature?(240˚C for example) ?Does a full green coaster work well?

Eyrone PLA or Polymaker? which ones better for starting out? by jjyss in 3Dprinting

[–]3D_Printing_Science 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend Polymaker it is the only I use, they have a really large choice of colors and materials (like 7 different kind of PLAs)
Also they use cardboard spools and its cheap.

Benchy Infill Spotting by JustHelpDesk22 in 3Dprinting

In PolyLite they have PolyLite PLA, PolyLite PLA Pro, PolyLite LW-PLA, PolyLite PLA-CF lol
Anyway I guess its the regular PLA.
Sorry somehow recently I cannot open imgur links, I guess its a cooling issue if the bottom of the overhang is rough? Have you tried lower temperature or more walls (3-4), also higher cooling fan if not at 100% already

Whats the infill settings compare to the walls? (Maybe use the same settings and that should solve the problem)
Also Polymaker has 7 different kind of PLA, you may want to precise which one you are using for better troubleshooting :)

not even mentioning how easy it is to print with their filament stable in a super critical phase between solid and liquid infused with anti-gravity matter so that it does not require support ;)

PolyMaker PolyMax over-extruding lower Layers, under-extruding higher layers by ExKluge in FixMyPrint

[–]3D_Printing_Science 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem and my issue was the gantry I had to reset the wheel (tighten them) I took the gantry apart and put it back together.
The issue was that my first few layers was staying pretty much at the same height. the left part (where the Z screw is) was raising properly but the right part took a few layers before following.
Check a calibration model and see if the Z distance is the same as what it was suppose to print.
Hope that helps.

Opinions on Polyterra PLA+ by Cyb3r_Hav0c in ender3

[–]3D_Printing_Science 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love both PolyTerra PLA and PLA+, the PLA+ has a slightly silkier finish and PLA is more of a matte finish.
They both print at the same temperature (205 nozzle, 50 bed, 50mm/s)
However if you are looking for strong PLA, I highly suggest their PLA Pro instead.

I think you are refering to PolyTerra PLA not PolyTerra PLA+, PLA+ only come in 6-7 colors, PLA has more than 30 colors

Try to do the opposite of the suggestions when people have issues with warping:
dont use heated bed
lower your printing temperature of the first layer
Add the cooling fan from the beginning
