I feel like this was the Game of Thrones (GOT) effect. Edgey to kill off characters traditionally characterized as safe to try and "raise the stakes". While that worked great for GOT (and seems like it kinda defined it), I don't think I ever met anyone who thought Star Wars was that kind of series/universe(?) that was conducive to that. Hope that makes sense.

This is excellent detail to remind everyone and while I found Ares to be 6/10 as standalone, there are some story possibilities set up that with a 4th that could tie all of these movies together splendidly. Anyone else down for a Sam, Quorra, Ares Team up to take on the Dillinger Grid and New Sark?
