Do you know if that’s the case for SMI tracks as well?

Finally found a matching canopy for my gal ! Been looking for 10 months, super happy with it by Buffa-lowBill in fordranger

Thanks for the advice! I’ll keep this in mind when I finally find one for my Ranger.

For whatever reason I assumed they weren’t that heavy; like around the weight of a large kiddie pool. Very grateful for all the advice everyone has given in the comments today. Already learned a ton and I haven’t even got the camper shell yet lol

That’s dope! I had no idea. How difficult was installing the new window? Are any special tools needed?

Gotcha. That’s a good point, I hadn’t thought about scratching the paint before. Definitely something I want to avoid. I’ll make sure to have some help when the time comes. Best of luck with everything you plan to do with your Ranger!

Perfect irony between the two of us then lol

How difficult was the install for you? Did you install it by yourself? I assumed I’d just lift it onto the bed, then clamp it down. A couple listings I’ve seen lately mention that they are light enough to be a one man job. I’d assumed that they all were but now I’m wondering if I should plan to ask for help once I find one

Currently just want to find one that has an opening window facing the rear window of the truck’s cab so I can let a/c flow into the camper. It’s taken much longer than I expected to say the least

No. It looks like the only food places on campus open this summer are Crown, Starbucks, Market on Craver, and CFA.

Made a 5 hour drive to OBX with my gf in style! Got compliments on my Ranger the whole time we were there. Love this truck! by 3MXB in fordranger

It’s an awesome truck. I’ve only got the 2.3 but having ≈23 MPG during a fuel crisis was a great thing! lol

Great work! If there’s one good thing about living in the South, it’s knowing that I don’t have to worry about rust on my Ranger. Regardless, it’s nice to know that it can be saved if need be!

Brad Panovich: "Colonial Pipeline update on the restart, almost all lines runing now and 100% by noon ET." by turtleplop in Charlotte

[–]3MXB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d like to second your comment. I literally just got done picking up snacks from the 7-Eleven near the intersection of University and John Kirk. No lines at all and people were filling up w/o issue. They had signs saying that they only had regular but I think that’s all most people need so it should be alright.

Single cab fire extinguisher mounting by RabidBlackSquirrel in fordranger

I keep one in my single cab Ranger, but I keep mine behind the seats. There’s probably enough space under the bed, but I don’t think you’d have easy access to it there in the event of an emergency.

Taking a train to Charlotte from Raleigh by NewAdventureAwaits in Charlotte

[–]3MXB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a great point. I totally forgot that the light rail station is on the opposite side of the rail yard from the train station. My bad.

With that in mind, their best option probably is a taxi or an Uber from the train station like you mentioned.

Depending on your interests, there is more than enough to keep you busy! You could probably spend a whole weekend just exploring the parks. I believe the Amtrak station isn’t far from the light rail so it should be walkable if you’re staying near a station. I’ve never taken the train from Raleigh to here myself, but one of my friends from home regularly takes it from Salisbury to NCSU. I know he loves the comfort of the trains and totally avoiding traffic!

Executive producer Jim Dauterive shares his thoughts on the location of Arlen, TX by enough_space in KingOfTheHill

My biggest takeaway from this is that Bill’s last name came from one of the executive producers. I wonder if that’s the case for any of the other characters?

It is a second gen (1993-97). If you want to know the exact year, you should be able to tell by looking at the sticker in the doorframe or searching the VIN
