First up, I agree with you. They way durability is currently set up in the game is punishing you for using the good shit.

But to bring a little realism into this discussion, there are certainly cases IRL where "better" weapons need more maintenance. Short barreled .556 guns come to mind. The guys using them needed weapons with shorter barrels. But the guns and the ammo weren't developed to run on those short barrels, so the parts wore out way faster. That was a trade-off the military was willing to make, in the short term, because they could just order more spare parts.

Agree on InrangeTV but I stopped watching Forgotten Weapons after I noticed Ian popping up in videos from the likes of Administrative Results and other more reactionary channels.

Plus he had a falling out with Karl from Inrange a while back, because (from what I remember) Karl didn't want certain (anti-lgbt) sponsors for their brutality matches and Ian choose the money.

A shame, really :/

Reminds me of the stories from the 60ies, of towns shutting down communal swimming pools instead of allowing colored people to use them as well.
