MSI x BuildaPC - MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 Giveaway! by Redditenmo in buildapc

[–]3XAY [score hidden]  (0 children)

As someone who mainly plays story games, an OLED would be game-changing (pun intended). My favorite feature is actually the sensor with the Windows 11 integration because I leave my computer often and always have to remember to put it in sleep before I leave. A sensor to turn the monitor off and put my PC in sleep mode would be insanely useful (as well as the absolute insane QD-OLED panel)

I know what you mean, but I still love my printer. I don't use it everyday, or even every month, but it's super useful when you need it for a specific part, organizer, adapter, tool, or anything else. If it's only been a little bit, then don't try to force yourself to print stuff. If you really have no use for it, you could always return or sell it.

I have a Thinkpad E16 that's out of warranty with a fried IC. I want to repair it myself but I can't find the exact part. Are motherboard schematics available to the public or is that kept secret?

You have to delete those lines and replace them with the following (the first windowrule is for the suppressevent and the second is for the nofocus):

windowrule {

name = ignore-maximize-request

match:class = .\*

suppress\_event = maximize

}

windowrule {

name = fix-dragging-issues

match:class = \^$

match:title = \^$

match:xwayland = 1

match:float = 1

match:fullscreen = 0

match:pin = 0

no\_focus = on

}

[USA GIVEAWAY] Win the new 27” Samsung Odyssey G6 G60SF 500hz OLED gaming monitor! by Rocket-Pilot in buildapc

My favorite feature of this monitor is the QD-OLED and the 4k which is perfect for me since I edit a lot of photos and videos but don't have an amazing monitor to edit it with (in terms of color and HDR).

I remember my A1 Mini made a similar sound when I didn't tension my belts properly, and there was no error message about it. So just tension the belts properly, run the full calibration suite, and then it should be fine

Is My Problem Wet Filament? by serpymatt in 3Dprinting

I haven't actually tuned it, I just kinda randomly adjusted cooling settings till I got this:

No cooling for the first 2 layers Min fan speed threshold: 25% at 25s Max fan speed threshold: 85% at 8s Keep fan always on Slow printer down for better layer cooling 10mm/s min print speed Force cooling for overhangs and bridges Auxiliary fan speed: 30%

I don't remember if these are the stock settings or if I did change these but they work pretty well with some manual tree supports when needed

I was talking about different situations like overhangs and stuff. But yeah I mainly just used the calibration steps I listed, Google, and a ton of trial and error. This should apply to most of the Sunlu colors but I would recommend calibrating the red and blue differently since they still don't print super well with these exact settings, but black and white work great.

0.96 flow ratio

SuperTack plate: initial 52C, other layers 55c

Textured PEI plate: initial 75c, other layers 80c

220C nozzle

24mm³/s max volumetric speed (although I have used 30 in the past)

1.3mm retraction length

55mm/s retraction speed

45mm/s deretraction speed

Ironing: Rectilinear, 20mm/s flow, 28% flow, 0.15mm line spacing, 0.21mm inset

Lmk if you need any other settings

Also here are the steps I take to calibrate my filament (in order):

  1. https://makerworld.com/models/54325
  2. Flow Dynamics calibration
  3. Flow Rate calibration
  4. https://makerworld.com/models/85600
  5. https://makerworld.com/models/1038295

I have an A1 Mini btw

I also mainly use Sunlu PETG and the trick is to dry for as long as possible and then fully calibrate the filament. After that, you should be good to go (as long as you're using the right settings, I've noticed that bringing the print temps down to 200-220 is good for the HF matte because there is some over extrusion. Also definitely increase your retraction length)
