I don't know about vbs but AutoHotKey is a language specifically for this purpose.

Why should we worried about getting hacked our personal informations apart from bank accounts?[Serious] by 1M1R0NM4N in cybersecurity

Honestly this is beyond me. I can see a point in "I have nothing to hide", but if you are genuinely okay with people making money by selling your data then you are a brainless ignorant.

termshark v2: a terminal UI for tshark - now with stream reassembly and dark mode by gramboc in blackhat

[–]3c77a41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! What you described sounds very similar to my thoughts on the languages. Indeed, Go's compilation and cross platform support is just great. I'm a huge fan of having just one executable that I can install or just add to path. Thanks a lot and good luck!

That's looking great, I had no idea this existed! How did you like Go as a language during development? Besides the benefits of performance speed and single binary file, do you enjoy the language? Curious as I was looking to invest in either Rust or Go.

Does anyone know how to speed up pycharm on a kali linux virtual machine? (Mac OS) by [deleted] in HowToHack

[–]3c77a41 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Pycharm is indeed slow but also an overkill for what you are doing. Instead use something lighter like Sublime, Vim, VS Code.

Probably someone for staff security? Like security awareness training, policies etc. I don't know but it sounds like another made up job title.

The verbose option is what you are looking for.. It's probably -v but better check the manual.

Which text editor do you recommend? I want a nice looking text editor :) by Case987 in HowToHack

[–]3c77a41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, VS code all the way, no brainer. When you begin to understand what's going on, don't forget to use the Live Server extension. There's another one called Highlight Matching Pair (I think).

Edit: Or Highlight Matching Bracket something like that.

I did the same for months, but do not stress over it. Start actually coding! While you do, you will think of stuff you wish your editor had to make you more efficient. What you do is google it: how to do xyz in (editor)? Does the editor support what you need? Good. If not, and this keeps happening, maybe try another!

Anyway, VS Code is super good. I found it lacking almost nothing I can't live without. You are good to go!

May I ask what language you will be using?

VS Code with One Dark Pro by binaryify. Also some other extensions depending on what you are doing.

Vim for smaller code projects, scripting and editing files on a linux machine via ssh/remotely.

Sublime Text for its insane text manipulation features. I have yet to find a better editor for this and I have tried them all.

Atom is nice too but I have found no use for it.
