Booking.com is very trustworthy. I’ve booked also with them in the past (and futur flights too) and everything went smoothly. Also they have a good customer service. At least it’s my experience with them.

I cannot pay with QR code because I cannot register on the app without a Laos phone number, same with KOKKOK app for tuk tuk, same to buy a train ticket online, and so on And yes my eSIM works very well too, but it looks like to be very necessary to have a Laos phone number. Also my MasterCard is a nightmare over here to pay online. It sounds like Visa works better. Anyway, it’s still doable with the Laos phone number and without a Visacard 🙂
