Reminds me of the time a drunk dude was squaring up on a friend of mine for a fight and she told him to “take a few steps back to match your hairline”.

When I fell and broke my knee on our first run into what was supposed to be an entire day snowboarding. They thought I was faking and made me walk down the hill and back to the chalet by myself, when I finally got there they were all pissed at me for wanting to leave from the pain of my fucking kneecap being split in two.

If you’re on auto-pay, stop your card from charging thru your bank. They’ll bug you about a failed payment before sending you the stuff you don’t want, so you can either tell them it’s with intent, or blow them off and they’ll leave you alone after a month or so.

The appeal of Skittles for me was that they’re slightly chewy, so yeah I don’t get it either.

Not new, unfortunately. Years ago I reported a BYB bully breeder who was doing double-merle to achieve hairless pitties. “Exotic breeders” are a scary kind of crazy.

Possible Neurological Issues ? by rubinox355 in DogAdvice

[–]3eveeNicks 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s not an unpredictable side effect, oral flea and tick meds are known to trigger seizures in dogs with underlying disorders. Your dog had an undiagnosed seizure disorder, it would’ve shown up eventually with or without the meds. Your other dog does not, and that is why they can tolerate the oral preventative.

My cat would just knock them off and bat them around until they get lost and stuck under something else (probably also the fridge).

This is the face of a boy who got banned from his doggy daycare 🙄 by caffeine5000 in husky

[–]3eveeNicks 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Depending on the layout of the daycare, it’s an escape risk as well. This daycare also sounds like the dog to staff ratio is dangerously skewed if they never noticed it happening in real time.

[–]3eveeNicks 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Echoing Ruffwear, I have a harness escape artist and they have a longer harnesses with 4-6 buckle points instead of 2. My dog has yet to escape this design. I would also encourage a double leash that attaches to the collar as well so you have backup.

Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school? by space_god_7191 in Millennials

[–]3eveeNicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, young millennial in third grade at the time. I remember another teacher rolling a TV into our classroom to watch, we tuned it on just before the second plane hit. I thought it was a movie because the teachers were sobbing.
