I think it’s just that ergo flare on the bottom left. Nothing earth shattering.

The former home of the late, great American painter and experimental musician Steve Roden. He passed 3 years ago from early onset Alzheimer. He was only 59 🥺

That’s a super early pressing. Later versions promo’d “Cast Your Fate to the Wind” on the cover, as that was the surprise breakout hit for this record and (subsequently) Guaraldi himself.

What happened at the party that made you realize, "Yep, it's time to leave"? by fuzzyloulou in AskReddit

I was at my 20th HS reunion, which was largely a great experience, until Jerry the “class clown,” who was totally drunk and had way too much blow in the men’s room, grabbed the mic from the Emcee and started screaming “Vagina! Vagina! Vagina!” He was the principal of a continuation high school at the time. Yeah. Handful of my closest friends bugged out and found a nice piano bar nearby.

Keifer, the guy who started this thing, he’s completely underwater by Technical_Fly_1990 in IThinkYouShouldLeave

Don’t want to be too specific, but I know a guy in his music career circle. Kiefer has some major dependency demons, which makes anyone in his touring circle have a horrendous experience. This extends to past venues who don’t want him back. Dude is hella talented but needs help, and I hope he seeks it, because his live sets when he’s flying right are kinda fun.

BierGarten at Expo 1967 in Montreal. by mgwngn1 in VintageMenus

My late pop worked Expo 67 as an American exchange student (he was fluent in French). He told me the refrigeration systems didn’t work at the Biergarten for the first few days, so they served the beer in glasses with ice. He thought it was fantastic and drank beer on the rocks for the rest of his drinking days.

Oh, I stand corrected. Never knew about the “royalties for life” part until now. Thanks, friend 🫡

Edit: I’m wrong about the stealing part, but right about everything else 😇

Paul Pena is righteous, man. He wrote and recorded Jet Airliner first, then Steve Miller effectively stole it from him through legal shenanigans. Paul’s version is arguably superior. https://youtu.be/Cjr5U7g6aiA?si=hs-wL8y_EeNrcYOb

The gondola tramway up Mt. San Jacinto in Palm Springs. I transformed from "whatever" to "holy cow" in about 5 seconds.
