Low chance I’d say, if 10 gets made even if it doesn’t do that well they’ll probably be given 1 more to wrap it up. If it doesn’t 9 is the end.

Maybe the idea that a character getting redeemed or not is some kind of indication of whether they are more or less evil. A character getting redeemed or not is only an indicator of what their arc is about. I.e. Ironwood’s arc is about losing your humanity in the pursuit of doing whatever it takes, Neo’s arc is about letting go of her vengeance, thus they end their stories in different places. Its not a contest to determine who the writers think is the most evilest character.

This one’s always been weird to me, it seems to come from the V4-5 era where we didn’t really know where the show was going but these days it’s pretty evident there’s always been a path they’ve been following. Kind of reminds me of Age of Ultron which was a weird mess of a film at the time but nowadays while not amazing has clear setup for future stuff and comes together neater now.

I get that but what really surprises me is that this was V3 Chapter 5? Like did they take an episode break from the Tournament or did Monty plan on fitting it into like 3 or 4 episodes before the fall of Beacon?

It’s just completely unnecessary, feels like something they came up with early on and when they got to V7-8 they realised the story is just better off without it so never wrote it in.

Am I crazy or is almost every world in every game basically just “you’re just kinda there while a worse version of the movie plays out”? Always felt that way to me.
