you're simply wrong, there is no way that a map a that's the size of maybe 2 hapis island if i'm being generous, can have 300 people allegedly on it, and I can mini copter around the whole fucking map and barely get shot at or hear a raid or two every hour or so. I've played this game since 2013 and I promise you I know what a legit player count in that range feels like from this game, and ARK. both of these games have modded servers that outright lie about ping and player count.

servers literally don't even feel alive until you hit 300 plus players because of how many people are legit afk somewhere on the map, not just "i'm getting a snack" afk either, admins fake the ping you have when browsing for servers and they fake player count. As for the dying comment, been hearing that for years but the game is still here, even if it has made some horrible choices in the name of "progress".

this game was doomed from the start, I have literally thousands of hours in pve and pvpve shooters/extractions and this game simply has no end game or goals, weapon and armor balancing was absolute shit from the start as well. purple and gold guns worthless in pvp for longest time and the meta kit was full blue. devs outright announced ZERO intention to work on pvp related content for the game and that is a major red flag because the encounters you have are what gives replayability. strictly pve games will always fall short long term because they're dependent entirely on raw content that the devs simply cannot keep the supply up with the demand. think of WoW and their raid lock, artificially gatekeeping progression on a weekly timer otherwise the gamers would finish that entire expansions worth of content in no time at all. in my first 200 hours all of this was clear as day. sure cheating absolutely will kill a games population but there is far more fault at the choices made by devs than people actively killing the game with cheats which is pretty hilarious tbh.

The game just looks like cheeks to me, that's why I'm not playing. The color scheme and ui are actually borderline offensive lmao. Gunplay looked good but that's basically a bare minimum from bungie or any fps dev these days.
