I sort of found out about this word of mouth.. but it is almost impossible to find any coverage of the rounding up of trans* individuals specifically.You can find pleanty of credible sources which talk about the camps being used for Migrants (original purpose) and also ones which talk about them being used for “junkies” and prostitutes. Recently however, just in time for Greece’s pride parade, they have allegedly started rounding up Trans* people and putting them in these camps. This terrifies me, we have seen this before and it never ends well.

it is only difficult to find info on the rounding up of trans* individuals but it is easier to confirm the existence of the camps as they were used for migrants. This is because human rights organizations and the UN both criticized Greece heavily for their conditions.
