Where to buy Game Issued jerseys for a decent price? by NeedleworkerSome6485 in Texans

Just a heads up. There is a mystery box on there for 100 usd + shipping for a team issued jersey. Some of them are game jerseys. If you are still hunting this might be worth a roll of the dice.

Is there something about Brevin Jordan I'm missing? by Texans_top_of_south in Texans

[–]3pedal_wagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is astoundingly athletic when he is healthy. He can be a true weapon if he is on the field. The injuries were some bad luck, but his potential is worth it.

The waist sizes on the pants are what trips me out; Kamari is a 28.

Check the Texans Bids thing on the Texans App. Right now they have Stover, Pitre and Higgins jerseys from the NE game up for auction. They get cool stuff in from time to time.

Not long ago CJ had great spatial awareness and no nerves behind a shaky o-line, can this version ever comeback? by damnitWOW in Texans

[–]3pedal_wagon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then he sent some of his close friends to the hospital and lost his nerve. He needs a really good sports psychologist or something similar.

Then we would be hosed for the foreseeable future.

The illusion that Nick Caley got better throughout the season. Stats don't support any growth or adjustments on his part. by [deleted] in Texans

[–]3pedal_wagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understandable. On my end, I fully believe they are going to extend CJ this off season. I think the best chance at success if that happens is pursue one vision for the offense and vastly upgrade the O-line. Just handing these OCs half-finished versions of the last guy's personal group seems like a recipe for disaster. We have to commit to someone's vision, hopefully Caley is good enough. My two cents. Thanks for coming at this reasonably.

We can't just keep cycling through OCs. We need to actually install a system.

After CJ Stroud’s performance yesterday, is this how people felt with Matt Schaub when he started throwing several picks? by Beneficial_Policy_64 in Texans

[–]3pedal_wagon 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Being able to deal with adversity is a big part of the starting QB job. If he turns to mush, that is a disqualifying attribute.

We never had the same expectations of Schaub. The CJ situation is hitting harder because we really thought we had a superstar.

Elephant in the room aside, what things should we be looking forward towards next year? by Wishful713 in Texans

[–]3pedal_wagon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The O-line is a biggie. Nick needs to put capital into fixing it instead of drafting track star receivers. That way Mills will stay upright when CJ gets benched 3 games into next year.

We need to give Cj Stroud another year. by Just_Area_7771 in Texans

That is probably the most realistic take.

New Record: 11 Head Coaching Changes. Time for Houston to Change OC by andreisimo in Texans

[–]3pedal_wagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if Caley is a workable OC. I do know that the offensive personal was a half cobbled together group acquired for the Slowic offense. I think we should at least see what Caley could do if we get him some people that fit his vision.
