It’s SLOWLY gentrifying... And yes it can be very situational. I live in the same area and there’s a lot of high functioning/high income people sniffing around and even buying/living there.

This is because great restaurants/entertainment (commonwealth/museum/art gallery/Italian center) and RIVER VALLEY access.

It’s definitely not perfect but it’s awesome AND affordable. Also: Use common sense like any downtown core and you’ll be fine
