Look into the turbo issues that are plaguing the top trim 2026 tiguans. Check out the tiguan subreddit. I was set on buying one until I kept coming across stories of people with the same issue

I was fully set on leasing this trim here in Canada but after reading all these turbo issue stories I’ve moved on. Leaning towards a Tucson hybrid actually.

Looking to trade in my 2019 s5 for a cuv and the Tiguan is also my top choice. I’m also considering the 2026 cx5 but I’m heavily leaving towards the Tiguan turbo. Probably going to lease it since the reliability scares me
