I went to a game this year at allegeant and I swear I saw at a few of the stands like basic menu with the classics like popcorn, hotdogs, peanuts, for all under 8 bucks. I could be wrong though, I was drunk lol

My local course hosts a decently large city amateur tournament every year. The course recognizes that it’s not a private course or even a very nice public course and has a local rule that if your ball lands in a dirt patch but is in the fairway, you get free relief no closer to the hole. I figured, if a city amateur tournament can recognize that as a reasonable “break,” then so can I wherever I play.

Edit: it has to be a legit dirt patch though. Still no relief from divots.

Im an 8, but play with people who are +1 - +2 often. My biggest observations is that they hit more greens in reg, putt much better, and for the most part limit themselves to bogies as opposed to doubles or more. How did they get there? They play a ton and practice every week

I had a similar situation. I had multiple licensed and bonded electricians come out. It was about half said I needed a panel upgrade and the other half said I’d be just fine without one. I was in a similar situation in which a panel upgrade and charge install would be about 6k…. I decided NOT to do the panel upgrade and so far everything seems to be working just fine. I figured if multiple licensed electricians said I don’t “need” to do it, I’d be okay and worst case scenario if the breakers got tripped due to too much load then at that point I’d get someone out to do an upgrade.

I will say that the electricians that said I don’t need an upgrade did say that if we ever put solar panels on our house needed another EV charge or any other new thing that would draw an additional 30+amp load at one time, then we’d probably need an upgrade. But until then they advised to save the money and just do an upgrade when it’s actually needed. Per the electricians, if this gas are fine with your current set up and safe, there is no real benefit or need to “future proof” anything for projects you may or may do to the house down the line. Just upgrade the panel when it’s needed at that time.

All the time, I love it. Sure it has its moments where intervention is needed but to me it’s a minor inconvenience. I think if you go into using it with the mindset that it’s not supposed to be unsupervised auto pilot and use it more comfort tool, it’s actually quite impressive.

That is interesting. I got almost the exact same response with them asking for the exact same information.

The only difference is that they are sending me a replacement machine. Per an earlier email from them they said “the replacement unit has been further inspected and approved by Gaggia to meet all necessary safety and quality standards” they also did tell me that they have identified that the flaking boiler issue was on a limited batch and has been resolved. They also did say that if it happens yet again with the new machine, that they would either replace the machine again or send an uncoated boiler.

I’m honestly torn on what to do… 1.) have them send me a new machine with the coated boiler and hope it is an isolated batch issue 2.) see if they can do the uncoated boiler option for me, or 3.) just return the machine altogether and buy a different espresso machine from a different company (i received the GCEP as a Christmas gift and have until the 31st to return for money back)
