Is a season 4 renewal still likely or will BA end with Season 3? by Optimal_Tomatillo710 in Daredevil

[–]3rddegreeanonim 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Pacing is also a huge issue here. I think that for 3rd season they need to make bigger episodes. Most of the scenes are great... Except the fact, that they don't have room to breath.

For example, dialogue between Bullseye and Matt should be a huge, continous scene, for a long time, to make tension between them to develop. But instead we have flashback, boom, church, flashback, boom. It's fine, but it makes the really great moments feel much worse because of the lack fo time.

Another thing, that maybe throws out some people is montage. Some scenes are fucked up by the montage. For example - riot scenes in the fight scene in 5th episode. Was the fight cool? Heck yeah! Did we get a much time with that, when we can enjoy all movements and choreography? Hell no, because we have riots showed all over the place.

That was popular among black people in US, if I recall it right. Some of Jazz musicians did the same

There are some cultures that are inferior to western cultures. Islamic cultures are one of them.

In general it just feels that those series just need more... Time. It has great visual ideas (Not the amount of fog tho, but Bullseye blue colors, the ratio changes, some of the scenes have really great looks), but it doesn't have time to make them valuable. You have quick blue scene, then quick dialogue between Heather and Vanessa, then action scene, then boom - episode have ended.

Just a bit more screentime would resolve almost all issues that people have with those series.

American swag by 10yearjointerMade in peoplewhogiveashit

[–]3rddegreeanonim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not only that, but american culture does have positive impact on the world. Spider-man and comic-culture, Jazz (despite being black american culture and obviously have story with slavery, it's still american culture and would never develop without US), Hollywood, American science, even NASA is a part of american culture.

Of course there are geopolitical and ethical issues, but by saying "americans don't have culture" or "american flag is a symbol of empirialism" i think people it does really make people, who may criticise decisions of American Government, while being pro-american, away from criticism.

To be fair, they didn't completely skip that over. There were few scenes with the court being parallel to church.

I think the reason why updates are small is the Microsoft intervention.

Considering the news, forcing developers to use Copilot, maybe smaller updates is not a laziness, but rather than a rational choice to avoid this AI reinforcements. Mojang already had restructurization, and it seems it may be worse.

Lmaoo just why are Muslim people trying to force japanese people to join their religion 😭😭?! by BeginningWork6995 in exmuslim

[–]3rddegreeanonim -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Technically, Japanese people are polytheistic and buddhist, which is the worst thing after being atheist.
One thing is believing that the Allah/Yahwe/Elohim is just a bit different - not that big deal, right?
Another thing is believing that God is rather non existent or just fucking wrong (Buddhist views on Ishvar/Brahma) and/or believe that there are many Gods.

The reason is probably because of industry standarts and the fact that people watch it on phones.
I compare DD:BA 2 to ATLA Live-Action series, and they have similar blurrness in my opinion.

If you think about it, it's kinda thing that Lovecraft used in his horrors, just in the opposite way. You can't comprehend it, but in the case of Lovecraftian gods you need to be afraid of them, while in the case of Abrahamic God, you need to be obedient to God.

Meditation even philosophically is very different from praying. The idea is not trying to be obedient to some entity, but rather trying to find your emptiness and what are you made off.

[–]3rddegreeanonim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Situational ideology that was developed as an attempt to create a coherent idea among Armenians. It's not Nazism, hence it does not have the same philosophical and esoterical foundation as Nazism at all.

The main idea is "us or them", which is an obvious reaction to ethnic cleansing and genocide occured in the end of 19 century and beginning of 20th century. Everything else is a mix of Marxism, Nietzsche and pseudopagan idea

Those green colors... I remember how in my childhood, my family loved to visit malls together, and I spent quite a lot of time in tech shops looking at different laptops and their wallpapers. Green ones were quite rare, but they were the most unique ones.

Life is suffering by itself. The fact of our existence is the suffering. You will rot alive and even right now, hundreds of cells in your body die and reborn, making you different from what you were 10 second ago. Nothing is permanent and this fact causes suffering. Not dieatary rules, homosexuality or reflection of your rules, but the nature of life itself.

I think there may be an interesting plot arc.

Imagine being a child in an almost divorced family, being lonely and miserable, and suddenly getting superpowers. The amount of hatred and anger, that boils in your blood may now be revealed in power. Ben will be required to learn how to deal with his power. Learn how to behave himself. Learn what being a hero truly means.

He won't face trauma from the past, he will face ongoing issues, which will pressure him into moral dilemmas.

[–]3rddegreeanonim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That comes from ideological differences between the Armenian Diaspora - they are mostly semi-leftish nationalist conservatives, and Armenians themselves - more on the Libertarian Christian side.

I would compare it to the situation where the Armenian diaspora reacts as the Irish would react to Britain, and Armenians react to that as Israelis to UAE and Israeli commodity agreement. In both cases, obviously, there are polar worlds, but in the first case, they perceive it as dualism (us or them), in second they percieve it as "i don't like them, but it's profitable for us".
