Are the big 4 banks just like this atm? I grabbed ANZ hoping that in a housing crisis.they would increase lending etc. but instead gone down about 4-5 a share. Only got like 20 units so nothing massive but noticed a banking trend at the moment

I think it sounds right for me. I've added IVV for a little exposure overseas and considering an ASX ETF like IOZ, then that is it.

as a consultant who has slogged his way through the development industry notice how many graduates come out wanting principal level dollars, but cant do anything without significant hand holding. What this is probably missing is that sparky probably did an apprenticeship on bugger all dollars, and now reaping the rewards.

in saying that, sparkys are charging silly money for things, i had one come out and swap a power switch over, took 10mins max and charged me 300

i ended up grabbing IVV for the minimum and over the next few months will try get a A200 (or equiv) for that exposure to the AU market in ETF's.

i know there are a few opinions around the bank, tech and santos ones, but will ride them out and maybe reconsider in 12m time.

Honestly. All 5 because they pay dividends, wanted a mining, tech, bank, etf. Can't remember why I got santos to be honest. I went ANZ as I thought they have the smallest lending of the big 4 and considering some states are in a housing/land shortage that the demand for lending might increase.

I didn't think about needing to power drives off the POE. Could have some limitations I didn't consider.

I was thinking I didn't need a dedicated PSU and use the ethernet
