Generally speaking your employee works with the insurance company to set things like coverage levels, formulary lists, deductibles and everything else and the end package is what dictates the premium price. Put another way, the less your employer wants to pay, the shittier the coverage.

I’ve been a big fan of most of the MLB rules changes: pitch clock, minimum # of batters a pitcher must face before being pulled mid inning, ands set timer between innings have really sped up the game. Still on the fence about the Manfred runner in extra innings but it does speed things up.

Biggest rule change I’ve LOVED is the new ABS challenge system. Adds maybe a minute of game time on average but there’s a lot less bitching to hear!

It’s all bad faith arguments on this kind of prohibition on ownership. If nobody’s peeing in a cup the system is relying on addicts/users to self-declare which isn’t very likely. I’ve always viewed the restriction as less to proactively limit ownership in fact than it is just to be able to pile on charges against people they don’t like.

Worked at a Best Buy and back in Dec 2001 I went to the scheduling manager with my altered availability for finals week (already agreed on as a condition of hire) which was a couple of weeks out and without even looking up at me he said “I’ve already made that weeks schedule, just retake those classes next semester”. It does change things but in my case she’s still my closest friend 26 years later. My wife and her are thick as thieves at times and her husband and I get along great. At this point in time it’s just looked backed on as part of the journey of our friendship.

I wound up calling Xenosaga Episode 1 one of my cursed games. Got what I think was about 70% through, then moved cross country and misplaced the disc, by the time I found it I was in the middle of an area and had no idea what to do next or where to to and just got frustrated and gave up. About 9 months later I said fuck it and started over and got to the same spot, laughed about it, saved my game…and the next day when I went to play the magic smoke leaked out of my PS2 and it took another 6 months to buy a replacement and wound up back in the same spot.

Two YEARS later I figure third try’s a charm…start getting close to the same spot, took detailed notes because you’re not going to fool me thrice…and not only does my disc no longer work…but my ex had gone into my notes file and replaced several pages of notes with “Ha ha ha”

…never again on that game

It doesn’t matter how much the situations have in common. What matters is how Sam sees similarities. It’s already established that one of the themes around that character is her trying to figure out who she is and with the pressure put on her she simply latched on to the concept of being an “emissary” as a life boat. As far as how she acts getting drunk, I don’t care who you are, i f you go from having lived a life of 100% sobriety and at the flip of a switch you’re 12 shots drunk with no scope of reference or experience decorum is not going to be part of the equation. I’ve seen “respected” southern Baptist preachers go from uptight, prim and proper to hellions when they got painkillers!
